They replaced a battery in my watch and 3 or 4 days later it developed condensation in the face of the watch. I brought it back and they said they would check it out and call me with the estimate. They told me the watch had a crown leak and that it would cost $55 to fix. I was suspicious and called another jeweler who was very helpful. I decided to pick up the watch and not have it fixed because I didnt have a problem with it until the battery was replaced. I brought it to the other jeweler and they told me the watch was not put back together properly and there is no crown leak. SOOOO im never going back to East Islip Jewelers.

Ive been there around 4 times and the experience has always been pleasant. Ive gone to change out my watch band, which they did free of charge, about two times and the rest were to remove the metal portions of the watches to correct fit my wrists. The only thing was that the price for changing out these metal portions was kind of steep (around $15+), but that may be typical of jewelry stores. Nonetheless, a great experience and nice staff.
