I recently brought a Michael Kors watch into Tick Tock after one of the screws has become loose and fallen out. After reading many positive reviews, I was hopeful that they could help replace the screw and bring my watch back to wearing condition, boy was I wrong. This was perhaps THE WORST customer service experience I have ever had. First the counter attendant said "sorry, cant help you here. We dont have this part or carry this brand of watch". Ok, no problem. She then went on to say that the watch was "actually a pretty cheap quality" and "not built well" and "would most likely break again in the near future". All while the person who gave it to me as a thoughtful gift was standing right next to me. Im sorry, whether cheap or not, have some decency for people who cant afford a $1,000+ watch! She finished her ridicule by suggesting that "I should really consider buying local because then they would have fixed it for me".....well, isnt that what I was doing? Going to your store to see if you could help me? Trust me, I will definitely be shopping locally, across the street at Karlise, next time!

I bought a replacement watch band and what was sold to me was too short and barely fit. My fault that I didnt try it on before I left the store, but when I returned a week later (the next time I was in Burlington) I found them to be very unhelpful. Its true that I wore the watch for parts of that week, but the best they said they could do was to sell me a new, longer watch band at half price. I was very disappointed that they didnt own up to their clerks mistake and offer to replace the watch band at no cost. Ive been going to Tick Tock for years for battery and watch band replacements (although infrequently enough that they wouldnt recognize me as a regular customer), but I will never return again nor will I recommend them to anyone who might ask about my experience with jewelry stores in the Burlington, VT area.

My fiancé and I went to Tick Tock for wedding bands. We had a great experince while we were there and we both found the perfect bands. They informed us that it would be 3 weeks or so before our rings were ready for pick up. I had given them my engagement ring to resize, so I was very anxious for those 3 weeks to fly by. Not even a week later I received a call from them informing me that my order was ready for picked up. I was so overwhelmed with joy to pick up my beautiful wedding band and engagement ring after only a few days! They told me that they didnt want me to be without my engagement ring for 3 weeks so they rushed the resizing! I am so impressed with their customer service! It makes me very pleased that we chose to go there for such a special purchase.

Nice quality, but way overpriced. The staff is pleasant on the surface but want you to buy and get out. Had to exchange something (no refunds) and saleswoman was rude and did not care about my satisfaction with the piece I ended up with. Because she knew I couldnt get my money back, she couldnt be bothered with me. And she jacked the price of the new item way up so that it matched the price of the original purchase, with barely an explanation. Theres no way the two things could have cost the same--both pearl necklaces, but the original was with diamonds, the new one with no diamonds, same size pearl. Dont waste your money or your time here.

I recently brought in a few family heirlooms for appraisal. It was around the holidays but the owner Beth was happy to go through my pieces in spite of how busy it was. The appraisal was extremely thorough. Beth and another lovely woman took alot of time to analyze each piece and then to go through it with me after the appraisal was completed. This took alot of trust on my part and and alot of time on theirs. I think both parties were quite please with the results and I will continue to bring my business to the Tick Tock Shop as I have for the last 25 years. They are knowledgeable and I think the customer service is excellent.

Had a great experience looking for an engagement ring. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable. With the price of gold as it is(and having shopped around at other stores), i think i got a great deal on a white gold band. It was exactly what i was looking for at a reasonable price.Though i was there for engagment reasons, I found myself looking over all the antique jewelry too. The place had such history, im not surprised that they had a unique selection that i hadnt seen at any of the other stores. combined with all their other modern stuff, I dont see how you could go wrong. Very pleased! 5 stars!

My husband and I went to the Tick Tock Jewelers to talk about fixing my wedding set. (It was 30 years old.) Through discussion and some decision-making we decided to replace the setting. Nicolette spent 3 hours with us to determine our desires using settings and stones available in the store. Christine determined the sizes we wanted of the stones and how we wanted them placed on the new setting. She also relayed the history of their work. I must say the set and stones are absolutely glorious and we are very pleased. I have received many complements. Matter of fact, they are doing more work for us!

I have enjoyed positive experiences with Tick Tock Jewelers since I lived in the Burlington VT area. I had them repair an item I had for many years with great results and have purchased gifts, watches and other items that I am very happy with. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and always make you feel comfortable. They helped me understand quality, pricing and technical considerations. When I wanted a special item they worked with me to design and craft it to meet my requirements. Overall a great store with excellent staff.

(You are required to give at least 1 star, however if I could have it would be a zero star rating) Atrocious customer service & astronomically priced. Simply not worth the retail markup. As to another reviewer, longevity of business simply means the owner has deep pockets, it does not mean the business is well run. Their selection, like their decor is dated, their staff is friendly at first but absolutely will not go the extra mile, and ultimately does not care about the customer. Terrible experience overall.

The staff at Tick Tock is incredibly professional, knowledgable and kind. My family has been going to Tick Tock for as long as I can remember and I wouldnt go anywhere else for jewelry. My fiancee and I both bought our engagement rings at Tick Tock and I am beyond thrilled with them! Cindy was so patient and helpful with us, she is great to go to for any ideas or suggestions for picking out or creating your own engagement ring. I will definitely continue going to Tick Tock, it is the best jewelry store around!

Recently I stopped by Tick Tock to shop for a watch with little to no experience in watches. I was positively refreshed by the experience I had as the ladies that were helping me seemed to go out of their way to not only make me feel comfortable during the process but had a wealth of knowledge about their products and services. Needless to say, I purchased a beautiful watch that I am very happy with and will return soon to buy some of their beautiful jewelry for my girlfriend.
