Service is absolutely terrible. The cashier asked for help at the register due to a customer who was having a difficult time and when she asked for help she was told no and that all of the customers could wait. I was trying to help the customer as it seems she did not know how to count and after 15 minutes I could no longer wait and help her. I walked out and did not make my purchase only to see the person that was asked to get on register just watching people standing in line and half heartedly putting away merchandise. Than I called when I got home to let the state manager know about her poor service and when I called the person who answered the phone asked my name and than asked why I was calling and than I was hung up on. I than called right back and the person named "Anne" said she was the store manager I started to tell her about my experience only to be cut off by her and she told me she would take care of it.....yeah I am sure. I am taking the time to write all of this to say that today I was also at the Latham Salvation Army and had an amazing experience! Everyone is so nice and helpful there. There was a gentleman who who putting items on the shelf and kept showing my daughter stuffed animals and talking so nice to her. The lady at the register was so kind and helpful as well. Dont waste your time in Clifton park unless they do a overhaul on the management there, it just not worth your time.

All of their prices have increased a lot! I absolutely get that compared to a non thrift shop thats not the case, but the fun of finding cool stuff that amazingly fits great for just a few bucks was always the draw for me and my friends. Furthermore, if I were someone who had limited resources and had to rely on thrift stores I think the prices could be impossible to swing, never mind having a large family. I know they are raising money for something else entirely, but it did at one point offer a low priced alternative for those who needed clothes, furniture, or what have you. Absolutely a waste of time now.

My daughter found lots of items at good prices. I focused on the blue tag items. They had a great selection.

Typical Salvation Army -- nicer location than old one, but much smaller and with less selection.
