Its ok to shop at, large grocery store with a moderate selection of items. Honestly one of the few reasons I patron the store is for the small yet affordable selection of Latin food items that they do carry. They mainly cater to those from the Caribbean islands. I was lucky they even had chorizo, as I needed it to make empanadas. Recently they started carrying items that I otherwise would have to go into parts of North Queens (Bayside, Astoria, Flushing) to get, such as Talenti gelato and various cold cuts and cheeses of a more higher quality. Overall its of some convenience, depending on who you are. Just watch out for the attitudes of your fellow shoppers. They tend to get annoying and rude during the weekend and holidays. The employees are friendly though, so its a trade off.

I remember when this place opened up. It was a novelty and a nice Farmers Market. Now its a dump. Even with the renovations that they have done. And the clientele is rowdy. And when you complain to management they act like they dont hear you and they ignore you. A cashier actually paid more attention to me than management. I had to call for security on the clientele very ROWDY and out of control. I brought a cantaloupe and I had to throw it away it was white and green inside. This was a cantaloupe not a honeydew melon. I dont know what 3rd world country they had gotten it from.

Prices are always going up. Cashiers & meat staff are rude & unfriendly. Few greet customers with a hello, & none say "thank you" to customers like in most other stores. The atmosphere is unpleasant. Its difficult to get help in the meat department. They ignore you when you ring the bell & its hard to get your meat cut to your instructions. Theres too much of one ithnic food. If you want more variety & friendly people, cross the Nassau line or go into a white neighborhood. They make you feel appreciated for spending your money there.

In recent years , the quality of service at Farmbria has gone down tremendously . The cashiers either dont want to talk to you , or have an attitude when you try to say hello to them . Friday evening , I was standing outside trying to get my bags together , when one of the workers from the store tried to take the cart from me before I had my stuff ready . It was completely rude , and on top of that....that guy did not apologize . Some smiles and greetings would make shopping a little easier .

the aisles are crowded and tight and the fish isnt always fresh, buyers beware. trying to manuver is very difficult and a challenge. the best part of fambria is the first 600sq ft of the supermarket after that its totally downhill from there. prices are higher than most supermarkets so if youer going in to get something totally west indian go right ahead but save the rest of your money for a big chain supermarket.

The aisles are so narrow, youre bound to bump into someone. They have the plantains outside before you walk in & they follow you as if youre gonna steal it. Get over yourselves; nobody is going to steal plantain! They sell West Indian goods which is a plus! Forget coming around holidays because its so busy and horrible in there. Its a bit pricey in there too.

I go on Fridays, maybe its why I dont get fresh meat. I am not sure. The chicken always has this smell and taste even after cooking that you know its not supposed to. It almost tastes like cleaning products. I did notice some rotten muffins at the Bakery section once. I do appreciate their variety of fish and Caribbean products though.

Hi. This young lady really helped me with my shopping has a big smile on her face. She sends me back to get a mazola oil on sale. Because I pick up the wrong one of the shelves. She said you will saved more. And because of her ,I did saved a lot from my 100$ bills. GOD BLESS her.I told her keep up the good job with the smile.

This is my favorite supermarket, the fruits and vegetables are always fresh. The price is good and I always find everything that I am looking for. I strongly recommend. The parking is a little challenging sometimes, but is worthy. The people that work there are very nice, keep up the good work!

Great supermarket for caribbean/latin items that are usually hard to find. The fish section is awesome! Wild caught and farm raised are available. The prices are affordable ,and conveniently located. Not enough organic products and ethical practices are on a "hush".

Has everything you want if your from the west Indies like Jamaica, Trinidad etc. However, expect it to be very crowded, and the parking lot is always full so its best to park on the side streets and walk in.

Nice selection of fresh fruits for a hot summer day. Polite, helpful staff. Fast and pleasant cashiers. Great shopping during the week. Much too crowded on the weekends and parking is very scarce.

Very dirty, rude employees, more expensive than its competition, always very crowded, unhelpful/uncaring employees. Has the feel of an open air, unregulated market in Beijing.

Always crowded, people are not polite. Parking is doggie dog. I avoid this place like the plague. But dont go on my experience the place is crowded for a reason.
