HEAVEN SENTME

I went into this Super market to pick up orange juice... I picked up 2 half gallons of juice behind a Sign marked " 2/s6.00" and proceeded to the register after I paid at cashier 180 Esthefanys Register... I noticed that My Total was $10.58, I then said to Esthefany "Im sorry, but how much were these? The sign over there said 2 for $6. Esthefany then checked the price and said "No... They are $5.29 each" I replied by say I dont want them for that price... she then turned to a Man standing in the front of the registers and said in Spanish "She said these are 2 for 6" He then have Her a key to void the transaction... After My refund I Turned to the Man and said "You seem to be the Manager here... Can You come with Me to check out the sign? He stormed off before Me as I was collecting My Receipt... Once I was at the Juice section ... I noticed Him taking a picture of the sign... I Suppose He was going to bring it back to the register to show Me, but once I was there He said "You see this... "They" cant put the sign with the Juice thats 2 for 6 so they put it here..." I then replied by saying "No... Thats not right... I work in management too... Thats false advertisement... I want it for 2 for 6..." He then said "No... Its written on the sign... YOU GOTTA READ..." THIS ... Offended Me very much... It was plain to see that the error was theirs not mine, but to insult My intelligence instead of apologizing was where I disgusted. He walked away from Me saying something under His Breath but once I was in front of Him ... I told Him to His Face "Im sure Youre accustomed to speaking to People that look like Me in this area How ever You want, but its not right..." He went on to ask "How did I talk to You?" I then reiterated the comment he made about My having to read. THIS BEHAVIOR TO PAYING CUSTOMERS IS DISGUSTING, He needs a few lessons in Customer service.

Not the greatest atmosphere. When you leave Compare Foods located on Beach 20th street, Far Rockaway. One has to question themselves, why should I support a neighborhood store. It feels like youre going to a nightclub with aggressive coat check. You have to check you bags even personal bags in at the front door. You are than given a number tag and still followed around the store. Not too many complaints about food selection or merchandise. Compare Foods do try but differently not Trader Joes or Whole Foods. P.S. stay away from the evening until closing shift. The day shift is much better.

Awesome grocery store. Obviously Dominican operated. I definitely appreciate the bachata while I shop, it definitely adds a great vibe to the whole deal. Decent prices, good selection. Downside is that its usually super crowded, but there a reason for it. Much better choice of shopping than the key food.

Although they have good prices,a lot of things are expired. I bought a Bolthouse farm vanilla bean yesterday 04/06/17. Its supposedly good until the 16th but i opened it today on the 7th n the lid and cover is molded over...disgusting

How is it that the Far Rockaway store is not listed among the N.Y. stores on the company website? How am I supposed to look for the weekly specials?

Store has everything. Very friendly employees.$40 and up theyll drive you and your groceries to your home.

They have a great and inexpensive selection, however the lack of a fresh fish market is disappointing.
