I went in here recently looking to buy a Christmas gift for a friend, whos an enthusiastic fan of cigars. (Unfortunately, he lives quite a distance from me, so Im not familiar with the brands he likes.) When I walked in, the guy working at the counter was chatting with someone who was obviously a regular, & he took several minutes to acknowledge me. I explained my dilemma & asked for suggestions. The guy was totally unhelpful & was obviously uninterested in talking cigars with some chick who knew nothing about the subject. He acted like he couldnt wait for me to leave, so I did -- along with the sizeable chunk of money Id been prepared to spend. (And frankly, the place didnt look busy enough that they could really afford to lose a customer!) In the past, I have done business with Edleez West in Dunkirk, NY, which I have found to have a much nicer atmostphere & selection of accessories, even if they may not have quite the variety of actual cigars. The people working there are super-friendly & helpful, & Id recommend it as being well worth the hours drive to do business there. I know thats what I plan to do!

While visiting Buffalo, I met my son in law and his father at Virgil Ave. From the moment I walked in the service was great. After helping me select a medium body Maduro we smoked them in the RP lounge. The sitting is comfortable a couple of big screen TVs to watch sports and good conversation with fellow patrons made for a comfortable afternoon enjoying a fine cigar. I will make Virgil Ave part of my visits in the future and highly reccomend them for any cigar afficiando. Thanks! Call ahead for recommendations to make your time there even more enjoyable.

Bought a couple cigars from here and while they have a nice selection each cigar Ive gotten here cracked badly. They did refund once and I decided to give another chance and that cigar showed they do not properly take care of their cigars as that one cracked and fell apart just as bad.

Usually come here on days when I want to hang out and enjoy a smoke. Nice walk in humidor with a good selection. Staff is friendly and the Rocky Patel smoking lounge is a nice place to kick back and relax.
