Not impressed. Initially, this experience was working out to be a great business relationship but as we moved to the 31st day, one day after hes legally bound to honor purchase oriented repairs as discussed at the time of negotiations, things changed quite a bit. I took delivery of a gorgeous and unique looking 2007 Mercedes S550 and Im very happy that the initial parts were relatively easy. He was almost always available to answer things like: wheres my title, or who do I make the check out to, but when it came time to honoring the discussed repairs he flaked out like a scared cat. I love the car I really do. I drove it from Brooklyn to Key West and back with no issues. This was, of course, after I replaced the tires for $900 which he justified because he deducted $400 off the price of the car so I could replace the tires on my own. The license plate light that wasnt working properly was addressed before I even test drove the car and he swore he would fix it and our buyers agreement even said he would. The mirror isnt working properly and he also swore he would fix that too but shrugged it off every time I reminded him. Im happy I have dated text messages with all of our conversations, thanks iMessage, and paperwork that says he would repair the car BEFORE I took delivery because Im going to need them to repair my car. Mercedes-Benz in Manhattan brought an open SAFETY recall to my attention when I brought the car in for a detail because the dealer never even bothered to clean the car. This recall is for a safety related item and was ordered to be repaired immediately for free, of course. Last I checked, as someone who used to sell cars, it is illegal to sell a car with an incomplete safety recall without completing it and usually is good practice to at least inform the customer of these things. Prestige didnt even tell me there was a recall or show me a carfax, but I checked that on my own. He knew I work in the auto industry from the second we met and yet he still tried to play games about reasonable safety repairs. I dont think its appropriate to play games with anyone especially when theyre buying high priced items like cars and most especially about safety related issues. I suggest that unless you dont care about things like the aforementioned that you take your money elsewhere. It doesnt matter if you pay cash or finance you should be getting the appropriate attention you deserve when buying cars, houses, boats, whatever. Trust, this isnt an issue of missing floor mats and second keys... this is customer service at its worst. I only give 2 stars because I do LOVE my car and am pleased with my purchase. It was reasonable and practical. But being handled as Prestige handled me is not a preferred experience.

WARNING!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. REGRETFULLY BOUGHT A 2008 BMW x5 the car is a complete lemon 1. Major problems with the cars. 2. They dont clean the cars before selling, or if they do, not good at all. 3. Youll find fault, STOP right there, DO NOT BUY. That will be your first and last warning. If you let them pressure you into buy, which they are very good about it, they will tell you "Oh... thats a not a problem; we ll take care of it. Dont worry” When you hear that, its time the leave the place or youll buy and be miserable until you buy another car. 4. They are very pushy and Liars. They dont do emission on the vehicles, so you will have to do your own emission before they will register the car for you or before you can register. THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT EMMISSION IS REQUIRED BEFORE THE CAN PROCESS THE REGISTRATION. 5. They will pressure you to sign lots of papers without giving you a chance to read. But read… ignorant is NOT A DEFENSE. They will mumble and destruct you to sign all kinds of paper work. I hope you’re reading this before BUYING and not after. They are only friendly before you buy, after that they dont want to see or hear from you ever again. Some of my problems: . I had 5 codes, from fuel level sensors A & B, Lost Communication with instrument panel cluster (IPC Control Module) and more. Car dies completely, no power whatsoever, to jump it takes about 5 to 10 minutes, No ignition lights at all, no sound, etc. Tips before buying. 1. Test DRIVE the car for at least 30 minutes, from the side streets to the highway. Drive it! 2. Take a mechanic with you, pay him or her $100 or so, will very well worth it. 3. Rent or buy ODBII code reader. Check to make sure there no code like check engine light, ABS, Catalytic Converter, O2 sensor. etc4. make sure you check UNDER THE HOOD and The ENTIRE CAR..LOOK..LOOK..LOOK UNDER THE CAR... Check for oil leaks etc. 5. CHECK to sure all the basic features works: All Doors and Windows, signal lights, radio, CD player, GPS, trunk opening, etc. DO NOT BE too excited about buying the car, even if it’s the car you’ve been looking for years, because you’ll fail to check basic things. Be careful AVOID Prestige Auto Service Inc , 2615 Cropsey Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11214 COMPLETE RUSSIAN SCAMMERS.

They sold me a lemon, that after the first few days til even now the car dont move sold me a car with tranny issues after spending 15,000 when I could of paid 1,500 on a hoop ride that would of gotten me from a to b. They lie and cut corners just to get money from you, they dont stand behind there work but yet they still trying to get more money from me for the car that had a sale price of 14,500 I brought a check for 14,999 and the third day all lights came up on the dash they never fixed the issue to this day I cant move the car I spend 15,000 but they telling me I owe them 1,400 more for my plates n registration which was 1,600 and change I gave them 200 toward it which brought it down to 1,400 and they refusing to give me my registration telling me I owe on a car I spent my hard earned money on that cant move from the time I got it. Not how you do business this was suppose to be a good thing buying a new car but with them turned out a nightmare Im still living they have not fixed the issue. They picked the wrong one to do this to. This what lawyers are for!

Dealership has a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT listed for 9,900 with 68,000 miles in the pictures it looks clean shows no real wear and tear. Now once you checked it out in person its another story Engine took two tries to kick over the Paint was all chipped and cracked on the bumpers also the ABS Sensor needs to be replaced the car idols off. Not worth 9,900 or 8,900 it needs to be revalued at 6,500 with all the work you need to put into it. Be cautious looks great in photos but not in person. Forgot to add nice size dent above the side skirt passenger side and rust on the lip of the driver door. Dealer wouldnt negotiate price wanted $10,100 with an Error Message on the dashboard. Car is actually worth $6,500 with all the mechanical work you will have to put into it.
