Ive been leasing cars for the past 10 years and this was the worst experience ever. I got into the lease August 2015, in October 2015 I gave in the car due to water getting stuck under the seats when it would rain. After 1 month the car sitting in there service dept I go there to pick up my personal belongings and see the interior of the car completely stripped, no steering wheel, no dashboard, no panels, without even letting me know thats what they were going to do. Whenever I called during the month the car was in the service dept all I was told there waiting on Ford to give permission on ordering parts and the car would be ready very soon "not true at all ". Every time I would call and ask for the service manager he always happened to be in a meeting... I called 3 times in 2 days and I was told hes in a meeting and they wasted there time taking down my # and was told he will call you once hes out from his meeting. So when I called for the 4th time on the 3rd day and asked for him the receptionist says ummm, I interrupted and said let me guess hes in a meeting I guess its the same meeting from 3 days ago that he was supposed to call me back from to let me know whats going on with my car. She promised he was going to call back "never did" guess hes still in that meeting....... After 2 months the car sitting I there service dept, and dealing with Ford themselves and I must say its very difficult to deal with them if you have a problem. They do nothing for you as the customer to help you out in any way possible. They promise you phone call back and bay ridge ford or ford headquarters dont have the decency to call back when they promise you they will. So my last experience with bay ridge ford when I decided to cancel my lease agreement since ford didnt wanna help me out and get me into a new car, after the car is obviously a "lemon" since its been over 2 months and the car its still not fixable, one of the service dept reps texted me saying they need the loaner back since Im canceling the lease. Mind you Ive still paid my lease payment the 2 months I didnt have the car. So I realized I left personal belongings in the car and I asked the service rep, if he can please send me my belongings with the guys who will pickup the loaner, he says not a problem. So when hes telling me the guys are on the way to pick up the loaner I asked him again if they had my belongings and he says no. I was a bit upset and asked why and he says the guys didnt stop by the shop before they left. So I told him then you are not picking up the car until I get my belongings. Next thing he tells me hes going to call the police and report the car stolen and have me arrested. This is when I hit the fan after hearing what he said and realized what type of people they are. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DEAL WITH BAY RIDGE FORD.

I just purchased a 2012 Ford Edge Limited and traded in my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8. There is a huge difference between the two vehicles but I am actually much happier in my new Edge. Ray offered me a great value on my trade in and I got a sweet deal on the new vehicle. Ray was very straightforward and communicated well with me. My first choice was the siena leather interior but when that was not readily available Ray called and we worked out an even better deal for an vehicle with an interior that was not my first choice. Ray knows how to deal with people and doesnt give that normal shyster car salesman feel. We had a great test drive and he was extremely knowledgable about the vehicle, leasing, and my trade in. Diane, the finance manager, made my fiscal experience very smooth. She didnt "hard sell" any of the "extras" that they often try to push on you. I did take the Tire and Wheel protection (ask me about my tires and wheels on the Jeep!) but didnt feel compelled to take any of the extras. I am leasing so nothing extra was/is really necessary. I was also happy to find out that Diane had worked out my financing on my first new vehicle when I leased a 1998 Ford Explorer from Aspen Ford here in Brooklyn. I dont know if it is that this is a Ford factor owned dealership or if they just know how to do business here but my experience was excellent. Give them a serious shot if you are looking for a Ford and you are in the Brooklyn area. Its even worth a trip over the pricey Verrazano Narrows Bridge if you are on Staten Island. I didnt like my experience at Dana Ford on SI.

My experience at Bay Ridge Ford could not have been better. The first time I walked in to the dealership was for help with a minor problem with my eleven year old Ford. The women at the front desk were friendly, greeted me with a smile and were genuinely interested in my problem. They got up and walked through the entire dealership until the found the right person to help me. The next month I went back and leased a Ford Edge. I was helped by sales consultant Ann Monahan. Ann was very friendly and easy going. We sat at her desk and talked about everything. She offered me coffee. Ann answered all the questions and concerns I had about the new car. I felt very much at ease. When I was ready she took me for a test drive and during our ride she even shared some of her own experiences she had with her own Ford Edge. When it was time for the paperwork Ann introduced me to Diane Lasky, the Finance Manager. Diane was just as nice and friendly as Ann was. We discussed all the options I had and she occasionally offered her opinion on some which helped me through the process. The paperwork involved in purchasing or leasing a car can be intimidating but she took her time with me and made sure I understood everything. They all made my experience a pleasurable one.

Vehicle purchased is a Ford Transit Direct (wagon). This vehicle is a precise fit with the needs of this customer. The seats turned out to be unexpectedly comfortable and the amount of space in the vehicle is truly amazing. The price was acceptable and within budget. Performance of the car is quite good in view of engine size and expected fuel usage. The car was purchased new. The sales staff was professional, friendly and informative and refrained from the expected heavy duty sales pressure. The ambiance in the dealership is quite pleasant and everyone met there was fully engaged in providing the best possible experience for this customer. The car was picked up on Saturday 4/14/2012 and it was in an immaculate condition with 35 miles on it. It came with a, not expected, full tank of gas, nice detail. Sales staff was really helpful in explaining warranty programs, without pressure, and a 7 year extended warranty was purchased as a result. All in all the the experience was unexpectedly pleasant and I recommend this dealership, as experienced, without reserve
