I read reviews on Google and Yelp before deciding to order my glasses online from this company. I was very wary due to the negative reviews, but I had my eye on some Nicole Miller frames that I could not find any where else for a better price (there was 1 site that had the frames cheaper, but the cost of lenses made up for the discount). The frames were $103. I ordered my frames with my prescription as well as the Essilor polycarbonate lenses with the Crizal anti-glare coating, so the total for the lenses was $118 for a grand total of $221. I received free shipping and also was able to get $20 off for spending over $200. My glasses arrived 8 days after ordering although the website states 7-10 days for processing, then additional days for shipping time on top of that. I was very surprised they arrived so soon. They are made to my prescription and the frame is in perfect condition. I also had a coupon for the free cleaning kit which came with a cloth, spray, and a mini screw driver. Just remember to get the pupilary distance measured so you can make your lens order; Lens Crafters will do this for free for you. I did take off one star because when I called to inquire about the Essilor lens quality versus generic lenses, the customer service was just OK. Not bad, but not great either. They also do not tell you during check out that they require a signature confirmation for delivery so I had to email them to change the delivery address because I had already placed the order before finding this out. I received a response within a couple of hours verifying that my order would be shipped to the new address. Overall, I would order from this company again. I am considering ordering some prescription sun glasses from them.

I ordered two sets of glasses on June 7th. Since last week, I have been calling nearly every day and have been told that the Coach glasses are completely fine; however, the Nutmeg glasses have not passed inspection for the second time. That’s fine and understandable, even though I was told that is extremely rare. I asked for at least the Coach to be shipped out each day. I have now, for the 5th time, been told that “the glasses have not been shipped out and it will be shipped out today.” I’ve spoken with multiple people; today, it was Ella and I believe, Mia or Kate. I spoke with Mia/Kate at 4pm, who told me that the glasses will be shipped out today and to call back right before 5pm. I called at 5pm and was told by Ella that there is no way they can ship the glasses out. Now the glasses, that have been completed for over a week, are not going to be sent out until Monday. I hardly believe this will happen. I have been promised call backs, which has not happened. I have been extremely patient but I simply do not understand why I can’t receive my completed pair of glasses.

I ordered Rx Lenses and Frames. First sign of problems, took 4 weeks to get them. Next, lenses had some problems (cheap quality) so I couldnt see clearly as they appear to have major imperfections... I had to return them. After 4 more weeks, same issue - returned them again... Before the last return, I went to my doctor to do a spex check and they found the lenses to be different than the Rx. I had to pay return shipping at every return, and lastly, I was forced to pay $10 to cover for their shipping. Im still not using this glasses and eventually I will have to go to Lens Crafters to get new lenses and pay again. My advice, look somewhere else, even if its more expensive upfront. Ive use my insurance benefits for the year and had to pay more than $200 out-of-pocket, and still dont have glasses. I cant tell you how angry I am.

CAUTION: If you are trying to purchase frames and need them right away you should call them to verify stock BEFORE placing your order. If not you will be arguing with them over a $20.00 cancellation fee UNLESS you discover the problem in the first 2 hours. I ordered frames from them and paid for "next day delivery" only to eventually discover that I would be waiting a minimum of a few days for CoolFrames to get them from the factory before my "next day delivery". In hindsight Im doubting they have anything in stock. As best I can tell there is NOTHING they provide that is not available from your local retailer or eye doctor.

This company requires a signature on delivery. I had to use a precious personal day, and the glasses were delivered long after I would have been home from work, so the day was wasted as I was held hostage to the worst possible shipping company - they use FedEx, which is absolutely horrible - no window of delivery given, so you have to be available for the entire day. I waited almost a month for glasses that are not quite right. I am hoping my eyes will adjust, but thinking they wont. Probably OK for people who do not work, and for very simple prescription lenses. I wont do it ever again.

Not a good online buying experience. I bought glasses online so that I did not have to goto the store as I work really long hours. I even paid extra for 2 day shipping. But the delivery options this business set was such that I was required to take the day off and stay at home to get the package. Eventually I had to drive 15 miles to pick up the glasses from the delivery company. When I contacted them and expressed disappointment the response was not very nice. Wont buy from here ever again.

Was quoted $975.00 for the exact frames and lenses from Pearl vision that I purchases from Cool Frames for $258.00. They are perfect and I am very pleased with the service and quality. Thanks Cool Frames you saved me a bundle!!! :) No one gives reviews unless they are unhappy. I know that because I own a business and reviews are very important. The bad reviews shown here are from childish idiots that only think of themselves.

I looked up cool frames and i saw Etnia Barcelona there. i called to make sure that they were an authorized dealer and to my dismay, Etnia customer service said that this NOT AN AUTHORIZED DEALER!!!! I repeat NOT AN AUTHORIZED DEALER!!!!its a shame what people will do in this country to make a dollar. smh! Very outraged by this false adverstising

Nice experience with Cool Frames. Everything worked out fine. They had exactly the frames I wanted, which no one else had. No big deal with the signature required from the Postal Service, I know where the branch is located in my area. Good pricing, decent delivery (approximately three weeks for a tough prescription).

Very disappointed with the customer experience. I would highly recommend NOT purchasing from this company. The glasses were very late and they said they would expedite the shipping due to this and did not. They didnt even apologize.

Ive ordered the same pair of frames 3 times now as my son grew but they duplicated an old prescription from last order and refused to fix it! Now I have a useless pair of overpriced glasses my son cant wear. Its so upsetting

I would have had to pay over $500 for the glasses I just got from Cool Frames for $150! Excellent quality. I ordered them less than a week ago and they were already made and delivered, in perfect condition.
