Kinkos are notoriously bad in NYC. Poorly run, crowded, broken machines, and terrible staff. The Steinway Kinkos isnt as bad as the worst, aesthetically, but they really screwed me last year. In short, they made an incredible, sloppy error and refused to apologize for it. It involved making hundreds of color prints from a disk, and then a quick Fedex mailing turn around. They printed the images with the centering marks in the corners, on most but not all of them, this was wrong. I didnt notice and didnt know till I got yelled at by my client the next day. The important part is that whenn I went back to Kinkos: 1. They denied that they could have printed the marks, then the manager called me a liar. A liar! 2. After I finally got them to admit that theyd made a mistake, theyd only offered to reprint the ones Id brought in with me. I wanted a refund, but the manager told me I was "Lucky to get what he was offering". Needless to say, I didnt need the prints myself and had already spent hundreds of more dollars reprinting them at the clients location. 3. This entire time the manager wouldnt come out to talk to me, but was shouting from a little office in the back and using his employees as runners. A really awful experience.

A different arbitrary surcharge every time I come here. This is, I suspect, a problem with FedEx/Kinkos overall. Two hours before closing, I tried to make a very simple order online, but could select no option to pick my job up tonight. I called and spoke to someone who gave me an email to send my file to. This person said nothing about there being a difference in price. When I picked up my order, the price was inflated by 50%. No explanation from the guy at the counter. Ill be taking my business to a local printer whos more honest and straightforward about their pricing.

Nice decent sized place. A great thing is that it opens at 7 am. Can drop off your stuff on your way to work. The worker I dealt with was somewhat friendly and courteous. He was preoccupied with some other packages but as soon as he saw me walked into the door he stopped what he was doing and helped me out. He handled my package with care and after scanning the pre-paid label, handed the receipt to me and told me where my tracker number was. We exchanged pleasantries and I was off. It was a quick and speedy service. I wouldnt mind coming here again to do business.

Jose is amazing. He is super helpful and knowledgeable. I wanted to print some save the dates and even though I had made them in a way that I thought it would print right, they printed a little off. He gave me suggestions about how to fix it and didnt charge me for the original prints OR the labor that he had to put in extra to make sure it came out right (normally, FedEx charges for any adjusting they have to do for you on the computer). What could have ended up as easily over a hundred dollars ended up being a little over $40.

The store is well organised and I used the self serve printing using Google Docs and printing from copier. The on-screen instructions were a little confusing at first, but once I figured it out it was easy. (NOTE: Be sure to use the confirmation Fed Ex print code if you print from Google Drive. if you try to log in to the printer via your email, it will trigger a security alert on your account.) Printing was fast and good quality. In general the staff are helpful and pleasant. Good stock of shipping supplies.

FEdEx Office- I wanted to print a file and for some reason it printed incorrectly, and I have already logged off. Teresa was fantastic. She helped me to reprint the correct files at no extra charge.This is what I call customer service. Tip: if you are using files moved from a Mac to USB to print, make sure that you use a Windows computer to copy them into a USB memory. FedEx computers do not recognize files copied from a Mac.

I Never go on line too do these review type of things! !! But, the service I received today was fantastic. I was really anxious about the work I needed done. They were very kind and patient . The worker (Angie) stuck with me until the job was completely finished. Explaining everything to me along the way. Helping so I could get the best value for my money .I will definitely take any other business to them again

I went there couple of weeks ago and it was a horrible experience. The employees are very rude and lazy. Their attitude is worse than the USPS people. The girl even had the nerve to talk to me in a raised voice while I was just asking a simple question. Id rather spend more money in other places than coming back here to be treated like this. If FedEx doesnt address this issue, itll only tarnish their reputation.

A pleasant Surprise, they pick up the phone very quickly on Steinway (Astoria NY), and provide very professional customer support. In about 2 min I knew everything I wanted, in order to schedule a shipment of a little bit complicated parcel. The guy who I was speaking to was knowledgeable and patient. That was a very satisfying experience.

If They have problem with printing, still you to pay! They have just stolen my 3 dollar & I didnt get a single page print out! And the staff with big attitude, you cant even ask why it didnt print!!! Worst FedEx location ever. Refused to take my pre labeled package without offering an explanation. I would not recommend coming here to drop off your FedEx packages or to ship through here ever when competitors have better prices and better service. Im going to void my label and ship the package through USPS.

soo i went to pick up a package and they didnt have it but the most beautiful girl helped me and wen the package arrived later that day she called me and i came through to pick it up... i believe her name was anna im actually ordering somthing online now to have it sent there for an excuse to see her again

One of the best customer services in NYC. The store staffs are very nice, friendly and helpful. Amazing professional print service with inexpensive price; Perfect for print out resume, presentation handout, greeting cards and so on. Its also very helpful that the store opens until pretty late night.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. Using a computer to simply print your resume costs $.30/minute which would be ok if it didnt take 2 minutes to log on then 30 seconds to process every keystroke. However, this did bring back fond memories of 90s computing. Bring a flashdrive!

i gave them a very difficult project: to copy photos over 75yrs old from an album that was falling apart. they figured out the best way to do it and did a fabulous job. i always find the staff friendly and helpful. hooray for them.
