My goal was to print a set of 11x17 sheets on cardstock, and then mail them. I used the online printer to send the sheets through. I recieved a call informing the weight of cardstock i chose to print on was unavailable, but this was not a problem. The staff, however, didnt seem able to adjust the printers they were using. Upon picking up the prints it was evident to me that they had kept the printer setting for the original matte cardstock setting even though they sent through a semi-gloss heavy paper. This caused minor smudging. I decided not to make an issue of it, recognizing they are professional quality printers, not professionals. The real problem came when trying to ship. I wanted to ship ground (local package) but they had no appropriate size box. Wait, yes they did and it was free!- but only if I was going to ship air. I explained I was happy to pay for the box, but was told this was an impossibility. I was however, allowed to take the free box and go over to the post office and have it mailed there, except it was closed because this process talk 90 minutes. Also, while there waiting in line I showed one fo the associates how to scale to fit a photo another customer was trying to print (after 15 minutes of unsuccesful attempts). I know kinkos is horrible and i should have known better than to use them, but come on, really? all and all an absolutely horrible experience, though i suppose i can participate in kinko bashing conversations from here on out. I also feel like i just wasted $85 and 2.5 hours.

I was unable to connect my mac laptop to the laptop workstation and the employees were reduced to muttering that PCs are more compatible. Completely unacceptable, kinkos completely fails to provide the services that they advertise. At a different kinkos (a quite large one) I was recently told that they do not have document scanners - If I wanted to scan a document and turn it into a pdf, I would have to log onto a desktop computer and use an attached photo scanner to scan page by page. I was quite insistent in my inquiry, though though its possible that the employees were simply unaware that they had one. However, to my knowledge kinkos technology is stuck somewhere in the 90s. These are just two of my most recent kinkos experiences, but really there is no need to go on. A business that is founded on providing printing and computer services that fails in such a fundamental fashion does not deserve anyones money. I will do everything in my power to never set foot in a kinkos again and I will strongly encourage everyone I know to follow suit.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Staff is poorly trained and indifferent to customers. Store layout is confusing; its nearly impossible to determine what line is for what service (printing, packages, etc) but in the end it hardly makes a difference because both lines move painfully slow due to lethargic staff. When I finally got to the front of the line, I learned one of the reasons for the slow pace of her transactions: long nails that made every element of her job (writing, wrapping, keyboard entry) painfully slow. But she was no worse than any of her fellow staff members, including the manager who laughed off my unkind assessment of his store. Glad he got a good giggle but the joke is on anyone who walks in there. I will google map to see if there is any other place nearby to take my packages, and if it is with 50 blocks, I will go there next time.

Horrible customer service. I have emailed 15 pictures from my phone to be printed, not knowing it takes hours to download these at this particular fedex. While I was waiting on my feet for a half an hour, no one told me it would take this long. I asked the guy in the counter how much more time it takes, then he told me to come back the next morning and that he cant print them. Another print shop in the area had closed while I was waiting, so I asked him to print out 5 photos instead. The most unpleadant part was that they were constantly complaining about their customers, which I was forced to hear during my 50 minutes wait time. The other location in Manhattan (flatiron area) did the same job immediately, even asking me which paper I would like to use. Do not expect the same level of services at this location. It was waste of my time.

For an established corporation, this is the only decent place in Brooklyn to have the employees do copy jobs for you. Ive had terrible experiences with both Staples in the burrough, but this seems fine. Its ALWAYS busy, but the best times to come in are Tuesdays through Thursdays after 6pm. Ive had jobs finished within a half hour of hanging out in there at those times. Any other times are tricky and will likely require you to wait in a long line and them not finishing the job until the next day. Besides that, the employees are not too shabby and know what they are doing. I just wish they opened another Brooklyn location or had more employees behind the counter. Also, they give discounts if your stuff looks good (completely subjective, of course).

Went into downtown Brooklyn store in search of a USB flash drive that had been heavily advertised on all the FedEX web sites, and in the window and on the door of the store. After waiting for service, I was told "Oh, we dont have them, try later." I pointed out that the sale ends in two days and asked if they were offering rain-checks or anything. They said: "We ordered them last Monday (this was Friday) but they havent arrived - and FedEX is not required to offer rain-checks.". Now, their shipment probably goes by FedEx. After paying their premium price; If the package doesnt arrive when it should their attitude would be "Well, thats just the way it is!" I suggested that they should use UPS or something else for their shipping!.

Came in intending to ship a package. Was informed by one of the two employees on the floor that they would not be able to help me as they were closing in 15 minutes. Only one employee was helping people with their office needs the other who was happy to inform about their closing time was busy with other "tasks". Since I had traveled quite a distance and didnt want to just turn around, I decided to browse their office supplies and the same person who was too busy to help asked if she could help me with something and exclaimed that it was strange that I was still there. Terrible customer service!

Waited 20 minutes to pick up a package. Horrible customer service and not accommodating in the least. I was waiting 20 minutes to pick up a package because no one else would come to the fedex counter. I went in there one time and they said that I needed to have the shipping ID number for the package I was picking up and absolutely refused to try to find it without it. Three days later I was in there picking up a package and I tried to give them the fedex package that I had written down and they refused to take it, insisting that they look it by my last name. Consistency goes a long way...
