This Amityville Stop & Shops service is pretty much mediocre these days. One Sunday morning, I went to go pick up a Peapod order at this location. I went inside to ask where I could pick up the order, and the person at the counter at customer service said that your pick up your order outside. When I went to pick up the delivery, the man who had the items that were ordered said that your car had to be parked near him. However, the car wasnt parked near him and he got annoyed. He said that people park in other areas in the parking lot because people who do it, dont know how to read. He was most likely saying that I clearly cant read. If you ever encounter this man near the delivery area, dont listen to the mean comments he says.

The deli department has a worker with blonde hair that is so rude I came in on sat the first snow day I was only customer by her department which opens at 7 I came at 6:50 she said to me please dont stand in front of her deli counter I make her nervous.I said really are you kidding me her name is gloria.The most rude person I have ever met she should not be working with people and go to classes on how to treat customers.If I was management there I word definitely look for some else to take care of your customer.

I have shopped here for 3 years. I go in tonight around 10. I made sure the store was still open first. I go straight to the deli counter to pick up a vegetable salad they have. It was still uncovered and as I was about to ask for it the older blond lady said, "were closed." i can understand if you didnt want to cut meat but really, you didnt even know what I was asking for and you refused to help me. Customer Service is a concept very few people understand.

Store hours are not as posted. Told me that they closed at 11PM when all other locations close at midnight. Now that Walbaums and PathMark are gone there arent a lot of good options for shopping locally for me. Especially because my schedule makes it hard to shop during the day and is much more convenient for me at night. Not at all happy that Stop & Shop has been taking over and is inconsistent location to location.

What a joke of a place to work low lifes the mentally challenged and drug addicts work there. Also the manager will fake how they r so you wanna work there . And if you arent as fast as a human robot your fired what a joke scam price of my toilet

Very helpful staff. I go there pretty often to get food for my lizard m. Make sure I have fresh veggies and fruits for her and it always it fresh fruits. The lines arent too bad when I go also. Very clean.

Great Stop, and Shop. Love the staff there, and the Great selection of food they have. The Best Rotisserie chicken for under $5.00 Also the Starbucks, and Crew there are the BEST

THIS MARKET IS MY FAVORITE LOCATION OUT OF ALL THE STOP N SHOPS IN MY AREA THEY ARE VERY BUSY ON THE WEEKENDS SO IT DOES GET HECTIC IN THERE BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING!
