If I could give zero stars I would. They are exceedingly rude and dismissive of their customers. This is the worst customer service I have EVER had. They judge your pocketbook when you walk in and treat you accordingly. As we are in our mid twenties we are not deemed worthy of good service. Regardless of the fact that we spend hundreds monthly on our guns and ammo purchases, and have purchased multiple items from this store. Never again. Do NOT waste your money or time at Millers. They will not provide competitive pricing, knowledgeable answers, or simple customer service. They have a decent selection but it is not worth putting up with the degrading behavior from the presumed manager. We have regretfully made several purchases here. We were expecting to make another large purchase, and asked if they were willing to come down at all in the price (a negotiation other stores in town willingly participate in) and instead of saying "no" which would have been perfectly acceptable he laughed at us and told his employee to tell us "Ill only go up on the price, not down". This comment was both loudly made and we were rudely laughed at. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and returned only to be treated the same way. My husband is a reserved man. There is a difference between being quiet and reserved and being rude and disrespectful. The manager here is horrid and unconcerned with pleasing his customers, or even simply showing courtesy. Both my husband and I have jobs with the public and we will purposely steer every customer we possibly can away from this place. Arrogant, dismissive, tactless management ruins the $10 dollars you MIGHT save( and probably wont). Other places in town recognize the value in showing their customers respect, especially repeat customers. A sentiment Millers clearly doesnt have. Save yourself the trip. Go to strykers or make your purchases online.

I have honestly stopped going to other gun shops when I get an itch for a new firearm. I bought a D15 and a Remington 870 here and I have had nothing but the utmost respect and attention from the young guy in there. He is extremely knowledgeable and he is more reserved like myself so for some people that want immediate interaction they might take his persona the wrong way but I would certainly recommend him to anyone. Although I havent had much interaction with Mr. Miller himself, he actually told me when I was looking for an AR15 that he had just received a new shipment of the gun I eventually bought without it being on the shelf. He went back grabbed the gun and even threw in a red dot sight for me since he actually was just going to take these to the gun shows they were attending that weekend. My gun came with a key mod rail so not much for accessories there, but nonetheless still great stock for just about anything else for those with quad rails, etc. Everything is reasonably priced (except for the ammo just go to Walmart) but they have every type of load you need for shotguns. All around great place and wouldnt go anywhere else.

Great shop, good selection of inventory and knowledgeable staff. As with any smaller storefront, there usually is not many staff. This usually means, longer wait times to have questions answered, or one on one customer service. I have patiently waited my turn until I was helped. The staff at Miller Guns and Ammo was very professional, knowledgeable and helped me find an holster which ended up having to be ordered. I have been shooting for close to 30 years, been to a number of shops across the country and I will say Miller Guns and Ammo is one of the top shops I have been to. I have read other reviews which stated the staff judged them (20 somthings) by their pocket book or would not price competitively. In the day and age of the internet, there are a number of cheaper places online. The markup on firearms is very low in retail world, plus online you have to pay shipping and find an FFL to ship to, paying his/her transfer fees usually ranging from $20-50. I will say, Miller Guns and Ammo was a great price, and I am very satisfied with my purchase and will be back for future purchases.

I have been to Millers store on a few occasions and have talked with them at local gun shows. They have a good selection and some decent prices. All of the staff is polite and helpful aside from an older employee who is very rude and unprofessional. I do not know his name, but from the way he acts Im assuming he is the manager. Every time I have spoken with him whether it was a purchase or a simple question Ive always been met with a condescending and unprofessional attitude. This is very deterring to customers, especially those who drive in from an hour away. Now when I come to Las Cruces I visit the other gun shops, even if I have to pay a little more, because at least I know I will be treated respectfully. I know I am not alone on this issue and if Millers reads this I hope they can resolve this issue because theyre losing business from several customers. I want to see their business succeed because more business options are always great for customers, but it is difficult for customers to want to spend their money there if they arent being treated respectfully.

False statements, Lack of concern. I went into the shop asking how much they would charge for an FFL transfer, as in I buy the gun online and they receive it. Normally this costs $10-$30. Mr Miller stated, "if it is something we carry, then we dont do it, if not then we charge *only the cost of purchase plus transfer*" Cool, figured he let the $10 slide for a future loyal customer. To make sure we were on the same page I asked about fees again, and he reiterated literally "only the online price plus shipping". There is no way to misconstrue this. Later I noticed that they accidentally charged me $160 tax. On the phone he got real short after I reminded him of what he said then said, "well you cant do anything about it anyway, you already paid for it". Real cool. Then they never called to let me know my rifle arrived. I had to call them much later and the kid could care less. So in short, total lies costing me $160 and arrogant disregard. I could have gone to a pawn shop and paid $20. Avoid this shop.

Decent prices but the staff is extremely rude except for the girl that works there. He told me I had to keep my son right next to me because there are loaded firearms laying around. REALLY!! You just leave weapons laying around loaded, and in the reach of children ?! Give me a break this guy has an ego problem. The older man and his son are total douchebags, walking around with a chip on his shoulder, terrible business owner. Sad when its a decent store. Wont ever buy from here again. I wont recommend this to anyone I know either. EDIT RESPONSE TO OWNER: Obviously you are not from around here and do not understand the small town mentality. Word spreads very fast here, you will soon learn this. Also notice the owners response, he lacks professionalism and tact and will attack his customers when they post negative reviews. He cant even apologize when he is in the wrong, man up! Also try using spell check...website** not websight LOL
