Yesterday was not a positive experience for me at this location. I needed help on purchasing a glass door for my bathroom. I waited for 1 hour for someone to help me and I am not even exaggerating on the wait time . The Home Depots employees behind the help desk were laughing, socializing with each other, distracted by the use of their phones , while have customers are waiting, which I find very unprofessional. After realizing I was not being help one of the employee ask how she could me and ensured me that someone will be with me shortly. This is where my frustration started, It was about 30 mins and no one came to help me. After helping her customers that same employee left and went on break. How do I know? because when she came back I was still standing there. She didnt even acknowledge the fact that I was still standing there and knowing that she was the one helping me, she didnt even check on me to see if I was being helped. I was really upset because no one came to help. Anyway when I finally got helped, the associate was very helpful and very apologetic, she told me she was the only one working that department. She answered all my question and even offered me a 10percent discount. However the rest of those associates behind the helpdesk were not so helpful.

I rented a power washer to clean off a house for painting. I had never used a power washer before. The instructions printed on the power washer were incomplete, and I had to spend ~2 extra hours to make it work. When I asked for 2 additional hours at the end of my rental period, they gave it to me without hesitation. Not only that, but when I returned the machine, they gave me a $20 refund for my time, which I didnt even ask for, and answered my question about how to use the choke lever (which I apparently had confused with the speed lever). I should also mention that though I paid the 2700 PSI rate (which may already have been discounted), they had no issue with lending me a 3000 PSI machine, and that they didnt make me decide between a 4-hour rental and a 24-hour rental in advance; they just added the difference if I went over 4 hours. The only spotty aspect of the service was the damage protection: The rate they charge is a reasonable 10%, but I didnt find out about the extra charge until I was prompted to finalize the rental. If you want it removed at that point, they have to redo the transaction. In my overall opinion, the generosity of their service more than made up for the procedural shortcoming.

I went to Home Depot on February 6 and paid for one of their contractors to come measure my kitchen, the representative said somebody will call me within a day or two. Today is February 15 and I am still waiting for somebody to call me to make an appointment to measure my kitchen. I have called the store 6 times and I have left messages for the person who received my payment, nobody has called me back, nobody can give me an answer. now I want to cancel the measuring fee of $45 because if it is this difficult to just talk to somebody, I cannot imagine how difficult it would be if I actually hire them to do my kitchen. The person I talked to at the store seemed very knowledgeable and nice and said if we hired HD we would always have a project manager to talk to. I guess none of this is true, very bad experience from the get go. Additionally, we bought a washer and dryer at the store. The sales lady said the specs included the space needed to hook them up, we repeatedly asked if she was sure and she said yes. Guess what, they brought the machines and the dryer did not fit, so we have to take another day from work to be home for a second delivery. Like I said, not a very good experience from the get go.

Poor service in store and over the phone on multiple occasions. They lost a lot of my business because I could not get any employees to help me. They were all idling around talking to one another, one employee even telling me they didnt sell the item I had a picture of on the Home Depot mailer, only for me to find it on the next isle over. I managed to get an estimate for cabinets from the design department only to find that it was double the cost that it should have been but I had already ordered cabinets from a competitor when the error was found. Went in another time to purchase floor tiles and the store computer listed enough product in stock, but after two hours of waiting and being passed around to a dozen different employees I was told that no one wanted to locate the product for me out back since it was not on the floor. The one time I received great service and help only to find the helpful person was a vendor stocking the shelves with his product, not an employee of Home Depot.

Workers there are useless. Not all of them but most of them. Workers are either hiding in the bathroom or in isles talking very loud to each other in unprofessional ways. Workers working in sections doesnt even know what the hell they are doing. They cant even help properly because they have no knowledge of what you are showing or asking them for. Went there once. Show ppl in the paint section my nicely sanded floors and they said stain it black because nothing can help the floor. Wtf. When there another time to get painting equipments and asked what brush and such to get and they couldnt help. Went there once agin to get a tool and the guys there said all the sanders are the same and just grab all of the sanding pads. Like really?

Bought a lot of tiles online, when delivered, missing 17 cases, manager tried to get the rest of the cases, but never heard back again after a second so called delivery that was still missing 14 cases. Walked around the whole store with a staff member who couldnt care less and failed to find the missing cases in store. and the guy was like, oh, I cant find them, and that was it. If anything, the store is a big chaotic show, just get the stuff from the shelf, never have it shipped again because it seems like the guy who prepared the shipment couldnt even count right, the paper left with the shipment says everything was delivered but a kid knows a bit chunk of merchandise was missing.

This is the Home Depot Super Store - by square footage the largest Home Depot in the chain. Its a little overwhelming at first but after a while you realize the other stores kinda fall short in comparison. During the week you dont really find that many associates to help you but on weekends the staffing doubles and there are lots of employes to help. Speaking of the staff its hit or miss, some are actually incredibly knowledgeable about their departments while others fall short and barely know where items are located (I really dont go there for advise I go for the selection).

Other than in store items, be warned not to special order anything from this store. A complete chaotic, mismanaged, pass the blame, misinformation from pro desk, customer service, service desk and assistant manager. Im still waiting for my custom doors after several weeks. Apparently its in store the past 2 weeks but they keep missing deliver dates. Trying for the 3rd time with another person. What a mess, loss of time, wasted contractor installation. I have to encounter one competent staff to see this through.
