I visited one other Nissan dealership (Totowa) as well as a handful of other dealerships. Ramsey Nissan was leaps and bounds ahead of the rest in terms of atmosphere, professionalism, and most importantly -honesty. The saleswoman who wound up helping me was the most genuinely caring and helpful salesperson I have ever had the pleasure meeting. (If you ever wind up at Ramsey Nissan, I would recommend you ask for her. Her name is Mae Naber.) She was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Most other car salespersons I have met tended to be that superficial kind of "nice" . Eager to make a sale, they butter you up and then very quickly flip the switch when it comes time to really negotiate. They give quotes on deals that they can not deliver and expect you to ~excuse my French~ bend over and take it. I was certain that every encounter with every dealership would leave me feeling dirty and unappreciated as a customer. Mae on the other hand provided me with a process that was so pleasant and straight-forward, I hardly even believed it possible. We negotiated right off the bat and she told me ahead of time that she would not make me an offer that she could not back up when it came time for the finance dept to take over. She stayed true to her word and delivered exactly what she said she would with no surprise fees or increases at the end of our endeavor. I felt that she genuinely cared about giving me a positive experience. All of the Ramsey Nissan employees behaved professionally and seemed to take pride in the service that they provide their customers. This, to me, is invaluable in the car buying process. If you are in the market for a car and want to be treated with professionalism and care and you *dont* want to be jerked around, head on over to Ramsey Nissan. And while youre at it, do yourself a favor and stay far away from the Nissan dealership on Rt 46 in Totowa, where youll have the exact opposite experience.

I went into Ramsey Nissan during the week to take a look at the Nissan Juke and was met with a very friendly, informative salesperson, Sammy. During the test drive of the Juke, Sammy was pointing out all the features the car could come with, explaining how to use some of the features and really allowed me to get a solid sense of the car. At no point was he pressuring me to make a decision on the spot but rather gave me some information and his card and allowed me to think and test drive other cars. I was honest with him on what I was looking for and he was able to tell me if I was looking at the right car in their line or not. A few days later he followed up with a plesant phone call, and as it turned out I was hoping to test drive the car again that day and we were able to set up an appointment with ease. When I returned and greated him, he was just as plesant as the first time and still wasnt pressuring me, but wanted to do what was best for me. After my second test drive I was sold, I wanted the Nissan Juke and we started talking numbers. Still, he was amazing, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and putting me at ease. I can say with all honesty and authority, that Sammy was a factor in me choosing to go with Nissan. Other places I test drove cars, the salesperson was either incredibly pushy (think movie stereotypical sleezy car salesperson), or a wet fish and had nothing to say to me or of the car or was so full of himself and the car that I didnt want to do business with him.) I have told all my friends and family, that if they are looking for a new car, to see Sammy because I had such a wonderful experience with him, never had been buying a car been so low stress.

This is our second visit to this dealership in less than 5 months. My husband and I bought a Nissan Rogue from Dwayne Jones at the end of May and were very happy with the experience. When my son expressed interest in the Nissan Juke and he wanted to either lease or buy the car we did not hesitate to go straight to Ramsey Nissan and Dwayne Jones. Im glad we did. He was able to get the car he wanted and at the car payment rate that he could afford. Dwayne and the rest of the sales team are not pushy or over the top in their sincerity (I just hate it when you go into a dealership and you could see how they are dripping in their phoniness as far as their interest in you as a person...I mean really lets face it they are there to sell cars not care how your aunt zelda is doing!) However, with Dwayne I felt that he displayed just the right amount of friendliness but never over stepped his boundaries and completely respected our need to talk privately or discuss the matter without interference from the sales reps. He is a bright funny young man and they are very lucky to have him in their court!! After the car was bought and a few days passed, Dwayne followed up to make sure we had an exceptional experience. During our conversation a funny story came out: Turns out we both attended the same Catholic School in Brooklyn (but about 25 years apart!!) Right after that phone call I received another from one of the managers making sure we were satisfied etc. I tell ya, you cant beat that! My husband and I both agree that these last two car buying experiences have been by far the best in our 25 year marriage! (and thats probably 11 cars bought and traded in) Maria DePaul

We all have either had or heard about dreaded experiences during a car purchase. I was in the market for a CPO Altima and by researching online, found the perfect 2011 Altima 2.5SL with very low mileage and at a great price at Ramsey Nissan. Being Certified and having such low mileage, I doubted there would be any issues with the car itself. Determined to avoid as much hassle, hard selling tactics, ridiculous add-ons as possible, and save as much time as possible, I reached out to Ramsey via Live Chat the afternoon of Dec. 30th. I was assisted by Gabriela who very pleasantly provided additional information on the car & fees. I presented an offer for a little bit less than the web price, hoping to benefit from it being the end of the year. Giancarlo, her Manager, approved the deal and we finalized the details and numbers via phone & e-mail with no stress, no hard sell. I submitted my credit application through their website and was hoping to pickup my car the next day, New Years Eve. Giancarlo passed along my deal to Mae to tie up any loose ends and handle the delivery. They had someone pick me up from the train station, I walked in around 5 PM 12/31, checked out the car, took care of all the paperwork and was out the door shortly after 6. All 3 reps were a pleasure to deal with and made for an exceptional, time saving, stress free & hassle free experience. I will definitely be recommending Ramsey to anyone I know in the market for a New or CPO Nissan. BTW, I am loving my car and now thoroughly enjoy my commute to work every day!

I told Nick what I wanted, he precleared me for a new car, and he told me the price. It never varied. Nick was also proactive in calling to tell me about new incentives that would reduce my cost. I visited the dealership a few times and was pleased that THIS dealer didnt keep me there any longer than I wanted to be. Usually, its "wait, dont leave, my manager wants to talk to you" and wait, Ill check with my manager if we can do that. Literally, hours could go by with me sitting at the sales agents desk. This includes Infiniti and BMW dealers. Ive bought or leased several cars, and this was the easiest deal ever. I asked for the dealer to install (and back) a remote start on my new car. I wasnt happy with the usual remote start offered so I found a much better one that I wanted. I was shocked to learn, again, there was no change in price. Further, the remote start that was finally installed was actually more costly than the one I orginally specified. Further, the dealer wasnt shy about putting me in contact with the subcontractor who could answer all my technical questions. Didnt have to go back and forth with a middle guy. Usually, its the finance manager that becomes the bad guy, pushing programs or telling you why the charges are higher than expected and never showing you the contract until he wants you to sign it. Not Nissan Ramseys guy. He took me thru the contract and pointed out all the numbers.
