Terrible place. Horrible staff. I am a very patient person and rarely leaves reviews, good or bad. But this time its an exception. Went in with my son one lazy afternoon. Maybe a couple of customers but the stuff ignored us like about 5 minutes doing nothing. When we are about to go out, one of them called us to come back in. We should have continued our way out. Anyhow, we explained that we have our own script and was just looking for a pair. She said that "are we sure the script was right?". WTF?! Again, i am a very patient person so i still let my son pick a pair if he liked any. He did. So we did the usual stuff. Three days after, we picked the glasses, my son said the glasses "feels weird" compared to his other old pair. Its as if he was floating or something. Still, the staff who served us told us to bring the glasses home for testing. I knew theres something wrong cause my son didnt use them. So i brought the glasses in to a different Optical shop and have them compared to the script- they did it for free. They said that one of the glasses lens were not according to script. When I went back to the original Optical shop and explained what was wrong they just shrugged their shoulders and basically mumbled that we should have done the refraction with them. WTH?! Dont even try avoiding them. Run away from them! Specially the small (but a bit heavy) latina and the big white blond who acts as the "boss".

Women at the desks were great and friendly! BUT! The doctor was definitely lazy and didnt want to do his job. As soon as my husband sat down the doctor questioned him where his glasses were? (at home). Then where is his contacts? (in the case we had with us). Then says "well its common sense to bring them with you and your eyeglass medical history" Not a single person asked us to bring them with us or medical history prior to going in. He didnt say it nicely either it came of condescending and rude like we were children. My husband & I own our own company for over 40 years, if we ever spoke to a customer like that wed be out of business. We walked out immediately by how rude the doctor was. We didnt choose vision works for their prices, my husband has many designer glasses and prescription sunglasses, we choose them to try some place new that was local because our previous eye doctor closed.

The show room is very negative, no music, and the employees all nervous about making their numbers. Who knew eye wear was such a high pressure field...i asked our consultant if they ever have music and she said corporate doesnt allow it. I would suggest, as a manager of a successful sales team, that adding music to your waiting room would not only liven the mood of the customers, but the staff as well, and perhaps that would reflect in your numbers!

Staff is not knowledgable. I ask (several times) for what I knew I wanted with regard to lenses. Even asked for an optician. I was told the staff was trained so an optician was unnecessary. Needless to say, when I came in to pick up my glasses, the lenses were not what I ordered, the error lying in the "trained" staff member who measured me for the glasses and processed the order. Asked for a refund and will not return.

I got better glasses from the dollar store. HONESTLY. EVERY pair of glasses Ive ever gotten from vision works have broken within 2 months or less (6 pairs) but from the dollar Tree I got One pair for 1$ and they still are flawless & thats with me popping out the lenses and putting mine in. Than when I go to vision works theyre rude about it but theyre the ones who sell the worst quality glasses.. Just being honest!

Never will return. The staff was unorganized the doctor was ok. The doc became slightly annoying after he kept reminding me my vision was not horribly bad. I might not be blind but when Im missing exits on the highway because by the time I can read them Im beginning to pass them, it is bothersome. I use to have perfect vision so for me this kinda is a big deal. Nothing like holding up traffic to read a darn sign

Ive been buying glasses for years, and JoAnn was easily one of the most helpful and nicest people Ive ever gone through the process with. She walked me through what everything meant and all of my options; it was a pleasure doing business with her The store itself has a wide selection of mens frames (though no Raybans), and they have a pretty quick turnaround.
