Horrible experience. Completely cheated and blind-sided after running into the store with my two toddlers after losing my iphone. Without an upgrade, I was told the only possibly way to purchase a new phone would be to buy an iPad for $150 which I did not need. After being talked into this being the most affordable way to obtain an upgrade, I justify the purchase with the sales associate. Thinking I could sell or store away the iPad as a future gift, I buy the device and get my upgrade. Now I am stuck with a $10/month fee for an ipad sitting on a shelf in my basement. There is a $179 cancellation fee for the plan and I cannot sell it without a messy, complicated transfer of lines. I have spoken to Verizon customer care and they have apologized for this hassle and are ashamed of the wireless store methods. I am furious and will never give this store business again. They cheat to make commissions. Go to the Verizon Tower store on Rt. 71 in Brielle. I have never waited for service or been taken care of better.

I bought an IPad Air 2, as a gift for Christmas, last minute on Dec 23rd. I was originally very disappointed to find out that I could not ship anything outside of my billing zip code. So the plan was to go to a Verizon store, and ship it myself. A wonderful young lady named Shannon helped me. Not only did she take care of the purchase expediently, she wrapped it, and fedexed it for me. The customer service I received was outstanding. Shannon was incredibly understanding of my situation, and showed excellent customer service skills. Made me glad to be a Verizon customer. Thank you. And Merry Christmas to Shannon, and everyone that works at this store. You took a stressful situation, and made it a joyous one.

Switched a plan with my sister so she could use my upgrade. Then when her upgrade came this store tells me I have to pay $400 to pay off the phone and that there is nothing else I can do. Went to the store in the ocean County mall and they switched my plan like they actually knew what they were doing and got my free upgrade. Dont go to this store cause it is completely useless. Go across the street and you will save a lot of time

Took "free tablet" home. Tablet did not have sufficient memory. My second trip the rep moved my pictures to free up memory.We did not use tablet for entire week brought it back again. I paid 70.00 re stocking fee. Rep assured me tablet and other charges would not appear on bill. I also requested change plan from 2 g to 1 g. New bill; nothing was done per on line call to Verizon. Very poor customer service.

Went in to get a Google Pixel today and the employee didnt seem to have a clue how to operate the phone. I tried explaining to him that converting data from an iPhone to the Pixel was easy because there is an included Quick Adapter in the Pixel box. "No that is not true blah blah." Fortunately I opened the box to the directions explaining exactly what I had mentioned to the VZW employee.

Lexi at the Toms River Hooper Avenue store is AMAZING. She is very knowledgeable about all of the products, and the current promotions. I was completely satisfied with my upgrade experience, (new phone, additional phone and line, tablet, and accessories, and my monthly bill actually went DOWN!) I returned with family members so they could experience the same top-notch service.

$35 dollar restocking fee is ridicules especially for something never used.. went to best buy instead. they have no restocking fees, better deals and prices then the Verizon store, and they price match all local competitors.. oh and there their protection plan has no deductibles like Verizons Asurian.. i will never do business with a Verizon store again!!

Never had a problem when I went there and as far as restocking fees Ive never paid one cause all you gotta tell them is your not paying it and if they assist you must then bill it to account and then call and tell them your not paying it or youll just switch providers simple as that 100% of the time you dont pay for anything like that

Please dont use this store for any tech support. I purchased extra memory for my phone and one of the chips wasnt working properly. Not only did they not assist me, but basically sent me on my way and didnt offer to exchange the items, even though I had the receipt. I also purchased the merchandise the day before.
