This is, hands-down, the best pharmacy in the world. Ive got a long story ahead, so if you dont read it know this: these people CARE! I recently had a problem with my medication (Suboxone). I ran out on a Sunday, but didnt have an appointment until Tuesday. The withdrawal from Suboxone is exactly like what it is meant to replace (Heroin/Oxycontin). I spent almost all day Friday and Saturday calling my doctors office asking for a holdover script to get me to my appointment and received a promise that a prescription would be called in to the Sparta Pharmacy ASAP. Some signals got mixed at the doctors office and that didnt happen. I called the Sparta Pharmacy a minimum of 11 times during the weekend with myself in a horrible, belligerent, and withdrawal-induced stupor and they handled me with nothing but kindness and good intentions. They did literally everything they could possibly do to help me in my situation, including calling my doctors office and leaving an urgent message for them. Eventually (3 days after this began) it was all resolved and the employees at Sparta Pharmacy couldnt have been nicer despite all the nonsense Id put them through mere moments before. These are people who truly care about their patients and I hope this review somehow conveys 1% of the gratitude I feel towards them. None of this is to say that my doctors office is actually at fault here as they did a fine job dealing with my nonsense as well, but I cant leave a Google review for them singing their praises.

Sparta Pharmacy is the best place in Sparta to get your prescriptions filled and your Health needs met. Theyre prices are great and their hours are convenient AND as of the time of this review, THEY DELIVER!! They opened around March of 2015 so theyre fairly new but EVERY TIME I have gone there, they have been polite, courteous and professional. And they can also handle your special needs to! For example, if you need a medication compounded, just ask! Something ordered? Just ask! Cant find anything on the shelf, just ask! FYI, just so you dont expect them to deliver at the drop of a hat, their delivery schedule was twice a day as of the time of this review (Aug 11th, 2015.) Around Noontime and then again at closing. But to be on the safe-side, just call and theyll help you out. PS. They even have big boxes of chocolate in case you need a box for the woman or special person in your life. My Mom LOVES chocolate so it makes it really convenient for me to pick up a box of chocolate when I go get her medication. Theyve got Whitmans, Russell Stover & even Jersey Girl!! Yum, Yum!!! PPS. Never in my life have I ever dealt with a pharmacist who is SO on my side. I fought for years with my insurance company to cover a brand drug because the generic didnt work. Within months of meeting Prahar Parikh I am finally on the correct drugs and feeling great! And I owe it all to him. (ok, Dr N. can have some of the credit) On top of that the entire staff is warm, caring and a joy to deal with. The folks at CVS look at you like a bug to be squashed if you have the slightest issue. They are just rats caught in a corporate maze and CVS, as a company, only cares about making money. If you are still using a large pharmacy chain, STOP! Small pharmacies with a staff who cares is SO MUCH better!

Absolutely the best pharmacy experience, every visit. They are friendly (even recognizing customers by sight and pulling the prescription bag before they reach the counter), work hard at providing the lowest cost option, prompt, and responsive. Each staff member is clearly focused on customer service and to make sure you are satisfied. Try Sparta Pharmacy and youll never go back to the one you used before.

Thank God that Sparta Pharmacy opened up in our town. I previously was forced to go to CVS and their service was horrible. The staff at Sparta Pharmacy is wonderful. They take the time to answer questions and work hard to make sure that the prescriptions I need are always ready on time.
