The associate at the desk was fine with no hassles... helpful and polite. The store owner, GEORGE was UNBELIEVABLY rude. My 6 yr old son was looking at the cards rack when he came and asked him very rudely not to touch them. I had promised my son that he could pick out a card to send to his cousin, which is why he was rather taken aback with an older stranger asking him so RUDELY to not touch the rack. When I intervened and asked the older man to talk to ME, the kids mother if there was a problem, he turned around and very rudely asked me not to touch the things. I asked him that if I was interested in buying the things, then what. He immediately said "ok so let me pull out the cards that your son has been touching and you can buy them all for all I care !". At this I was absolutely infuriated and asked him for his name, he said "I am the store owner and you may please leave my store and not come back here." FOR SURE I am not going back there but am really disappointed at the kind of service and politeness that was showered our way. I felt absolutely insulted not to mention that I will not tolerate such bullies trying to harass my child. I will report this to UPS customer service for sure but wanted to at least put in my two words here on google, because I do believe that it is up to us customers to protect each other. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE unless you are ok with being insulted and your kids being bullied !!!

Did you know there is a $5 charge for sending your package directly to the store? I was told by the young lady who kindly called around 3pm to say the package was there (I came in at 7:30am for the package) that there was NO charge at all for the package. I picked up my package around 6pm and it became a different story. So I was charged about $1.65 an hour for them to receive my package. I thought that was their business! This policy is NOT posted in the store. I was charged for a miscellaneous purchase which tells me its not even earmarked in the computer as s pickup charge. Owner is very condescending to his employees. He steps in and takes over unnecessarily. Also His dog runs around the store. Unprofessional!!! Response to your explanation... George, Your employee told me there was NO charge when she called around 3pm to say the package was there. You explaining why you can charge me means NOTHING when YOUR employee told me the opposite of what I experienced during pick up. She could have told me about the fee when I came in at 7:30am to check the package status. As for your dog...it should be at your heels NOT mine if you need its help. Not everyone is a dog enthusiast. Your dog is not on a leash or in a specific area. It has free roam of the store. Thank you for your service to our country! My father is a Vietnam veteran so I truly understand the sacrifices.

Karen, George here I own the Store and when you called in sometime around 10AM I am the 3rd person that spoke to you. I would love to discuss this with you as several of your points are not correct. The UPS Stores sell services and rent Mail Boxes for mail and package receiving services. One of the many programs is for customers that want us to receive a non-US Postal package and not pay a monthly rental service. For that the fee is currently $5.00 per package or more based on size. The program is a The UPS Store Mail Box program called Package Only. You can contact Corporate to confirm that. So for the low cost of $5 a package you can rent my store and staff as your receiving address, we take insured custody and responsibility of your package, scan it into tracking computer systems, store it, recover it on demand and assure that we release it to only you. For $5 many find it a pretty cheap service that you can not get anywhere else. As I said, call or come in and ask for me if you want me to explain all of the many programs for shipping packages into my store. As to the dog. Sorry to hear that you think it is not professional, be she is a ADA Service Animal. As a Veteran, she assists me with my service related injury. Thank you, George

The customer service sucks. I had to deal with a bad attitude and sarcasm through out the process of service. Do not email any items to be printed and expect for them to the job completed on any level. I emailed left instruction and had to explain the same instruction when I arrived at the store expecting to pick up and pay. I met some non friendly old guy at the register who I had to greet and ask for my order. He said he would be right with me walks to the back of the store and starts conversing with other employees. A line builds up behind me as they all huddled by the computer talking and laughing like hyenas. Watching the owners dog sleeping in the front of the store. I could not help but think that they all should just join him because a few copies should never take no more then two minutes where as my order took awhile as I had to wait for the employees to finish the joking session.

WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE EVER! Seriously, Im so easy going, but this store not only made an error with returning my package to the sender, the owner, George, acted like I was lying about the whole thing. When I asked him to help me with the package, he said, "Call UPS. Im not UPS, I just own this store." Then he said that he would not appologize for the misunderstanding because that would mean that his associates have made a mistake... so I must be lying about ordering the package to be delivered there. I was just having my wedding ring delivered there and he was treating me as if I were a terrorist!

Staff is nice but the owner GEORGE has a serious attitude problem as he snaps at customers asking questions. Ive observed him snapping at his staff as well. Dont believe me call them and ask to speak to George and watch how fast he gives you an attitude. Also he rudely allows his dogs to run around the store and jump on you which is not appreciated but its his store his rules type of place. AVOID. The UPS store on Eagle Rock Rd by Whole Foods across from the USPS office is much better and parking isnt such a pain and everyone is super friendly and helpful.

Not particularly pleased with the customer service at this location. It very much seems predicated on the store associate assigned to your transaction. In a retail business customer service is the defining component of the experience and that which separates one business from another similar business. This particular location has failed to achieve this defining factor and, so, for that reason I will frequent the Rocket Ship n Print as the alternative of choice - shipping both UPS and FedEx - and meeting the goal of providing excellent customer service.

Walking into the UPS store on South Orange Ave. feels so comfortable. It has all the best qualities of a small local business; friendly, helpful, familiar, and accommodating, with all the capabilities of a national enterprise. It is where I choose to handle all of my business needs. It was also very helpful to have the print from home services when I was between printers.
