Just to counter a lot of the negatives floating around out there, I see how they work behind the counter every time Im in to pick up. The folk working the pharmacy have never been anything but exceedingly professional, imformative, and empathetic when Ive dealt with them. The only reason youre waiting is that they are devoting the necessary time to provide information and service with extremely limited resources, on a person-by-person basis. They do offer services to place prescription pick-ups in advance, and to provide texting alerts when ready; I recommend using them, so that the people there can do their jobs to the best of their ability, which is, in my experience, beyond reproach. If you feel that the folk working there are overextended (and they are), please take it up with Walgreens corporate, not in slagging on the individual location.

I have found the pharmacy department to be very helpful and professional. I wish they were still open 24 hours/day - I was very disappointed when they suddenly discontinued that, and it was even worse that other Walgreens in the area kept referring me back to them for late night pharmacy services. Were it not for the serious lack of a sense of responsibility to serve the community revealed by the decision to close early they would easily have earned 4 stars from me.

Moved to Somerville and went here several times....pretty soon realized this is the worst place to fill your Rx Long lines - ALL the time, never ready within 15min so dont bother waiting...and pick up often is iffy....frequently hear the other patients trying to correct some info or get some follow up...which causes hold up in the entire process.... Just go somewhere else....

I have used have this location for years but recently everytime I pick up a prescription theres a long line and long wait. I understand other stores closed nearby shifting customers but evidentially management has not responded with adequate staff.

Walgeeens is horrible! There very dirty and and pharmacy never answers the phone and their prices are never legit, always a dissapointment going there. There was only one girl that worked there which was pleasant and funny

They cant seem to get a grip on the line/medication questions at the pharmacy. Scripts are never ready so you end up waiting much longer than anticipated. Doesnt matter what time of day, either.

The pharmacy line is EXCEPTIONALLY slow no matter what time of day or night. If youre picking a prescription up, bring something to read, its going to be a while...
