I just purchased an Electra Cruiser from the Trek Bicycle store in Middletown. I began my bicycle shopping by going to another local shop. I thought the experience was ok but when I got home, I thought I would do some more research on the internet. I landed on the Trek Bicycle Store website. I called the store and spoke at length with Reed. He answered my endless questions and gave me an exact quote for the bike and the accessories I wanted to purchase. I decided to call the first bike shop that I visited and tell them what I was quoted from Trek and asked if they could match it. (I did this because this store is located closer to my home and I thought it would be easier to deal with them). Not a chance! I then went to the Trek Store in person, worked with Reed again, and made the purchase. When I went to pick up the bike, Dave assisted me. He was extremely patient in making the necessary seat and handlebar adjustments and answered even more questions that I had. Jeff then made some good suggestions about my future purchase of a bicycle rack for my car. Dave and Jeff helped to put my new bicycle in the back of my vehicle so I could get it home! I couldnt be happier with the service that I received. I highly recommend going to the Trek Bicycle Store of Middletown to make a purchase.

Great experience buying a Trek Bike. I bought the bike over the phone and went in a couple of days later to pick it up. The sales and service people, Reed and Dave, are just awesome, super friendly and truly know their stuff. They were prepared for me when I came. I purchased a bike rack that was put aside for me before I arrived. The sales people demonstrated and installed that for me. We put the new bicycle on very securely for the hour ride home on highways. They were very patient answering my 101 questions! :-) I would definitely travel the distance to purchase a bike from Middletown again. I feel like I am flying on my new Trek Chelsea 9. Love it! It was an absolute pleasure to work with this shop and I highly recommend Trek of Middletown!

Outstanding customer service. Brought my bike in for a new chain and tune up and picked it up a few days later. Took it out for a ride the next day and broke the chain while changing gears on a steep incline. Great job buddy. Luckily I was within a mile or so of the shop, so I called them to see if I could walk the bike over and get it fixed on the spot. Not only did they agree to help me out but Jeff actually came and picked me up. Given that it was 90 degrees out, this was a god send. They replaced my chain (again) and sent me on my way. I am extremely grateful for the level of service I received and cant recommend them enough.

Jeff and Scott worked with me over a period of weeks, when I decided to buy my first new mountain bike in 20 years. Not only did they let me test ride a number of bikes they already had in the store, but they also brought in a high end bike in my size so I could be sure of the fit. Based on that I ended up ordering a 2016 Trek Remedy 9.8, 29. Great bike and great service from the guys. This is why you use the local bike store. BTW, I have also had a few repairs done at the store and found them to be very reasonable on price and do top quality work. Highly recommended!!!

What bike shop dose not carry paks of bearings,for bikes. I"Dont Understand? I Remember Back in the Days you just grab a sweater and a hat and go bike riding. Today they want you to Look Like your in the Olympics. Overall its a Beautiful Shop.im 53 yrs.if I owned a bike shop. I" would make sure that I carry, Little things for the public.bearings for Bikes is a Must.p.s excellent Service.Beutiful Bikes.

First time in shop today. Shops modern, completely up to date with a huge selection of bikes and parts.. Jeff and Scott are just plain ol good guys! Very comfortable atmosphere, with zero pressure sales. Honesty I feel as though their just a good bunch of dudes willing to answer any questions bike related or not! If your in the area Id highly suggest stopping in! This LBS is exactly what we needed!

Great customer service. Upfront and honest. I have a 20+ year old Trek road bike that I had purchased from Brielle for my father back in 1994-ish. The bike was ridden only once and I have started using it two years ago. I brought the bike in for service a few times since and they have always made honest recommendations (considering the age of the bike).
