Als is the best place to go in the area for service on your car. Dave is a good dude, fair, honest, and competent. That is a rare combination in business these days, and I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. I love that I can walk in totally relaxed and not have to worry about if Im going to get ripped off. Dave tells it like it is, he does the work your car needs and doesnt try to push some nonsense on you that you dont need like most dealerships and the STS Auto up the road do. At Als Sunoco they understand this simple truth in business and life: If you do your job well, and you treat people like you would like to be treated then you will be successful. Ill close with this example of how different and special things are here. Dave will even tell you if someone else can do the job cheaper than he can. When have you ever heard of an auto garage doing that? If you live in there area and you need to service your car, go to Als first. Im a customer for life.

Als Sunoco was my go-to place for the two years I lived in Pennington. Dave was always super nice and honest. There was nothing that could not be fixed. Being a new [used] car owner, I was jittery about a lot of things, but Dave and his staff were always reassuring. Whenever I dropped off my car and nothing was wrong, Dave wouldnt charge a thing for taking a look. That was just so awesome. And when I considered replacing the clutch, Dave assured me that it was still in excellent condition, and he had the grace to recommend another shop up the road that would handle the replacement better than he could. Dave always did his best to save me money. Turnaround times were also reasonable. Dave is hardworking and he knows his cars. Im now in Baltimore and I wonder if I will ever find a place as excellent as Al Sunocos. Arguably the most popular in town, as Daves hands are always full. Give it a try and Im sure youll not be disappointed.

After a cold winter a steering issue appeared with my 2005 Subaru Legacy. After consulting friends and the internet and a few failed attempts to resolve the issue myself I took a friends advice and brought it here. Well they found the issue and ordered the part (overnight) so that they could get the car working. After picking it up it drives like a new car again. And the best part the cost was less than $100. The dealer was going to charge $50 just to look at it and "troubleshoot". A+ Service. If you are in the area and need an honest place look no further.
