TL;DR: We received horrible customer service from an employee named Adam. He, Adam, was disappointingly incompetent in getting my mother a new iPhone, and in returning her phone later that day, which she ultimately had to do directly through AT&T. Earlier, another employee named Doug lied to her about being able to give her a discount on a phone case in order to get her into the store. At the register, Adam informed her that there was no deal available. Doug, within earshot, said nothing when my mother questioned this. Later, when she and I went to return her phone, Adam failed to do even the most obviously necessary, and seemingly simple things (e.g., he failed to remove the tax paid for the phone, he even forgot to reactivate my mothers old phone until she brought it to his attention). In the end he refused to return the phone through his store (which, despite his at the time convincing explanation, AT&T policy clearly states that he is supposed to do). A reasonable explanation for why Adam did not want to return the phone through his store would be because doing so would result in a negative reflection on their sale/customer service satisfaction numbers. However, these numbers are not superfluous, they reflect how well a store is actually doing; and so, like Doug, Adam lied to make the store look better than it truly is ("Come to our store, because we can give you a special deal on a phone case!" and, "Our store is doing extremely well; no one has ever returned a phone here, suggesting that our customers are always satisfied!"). What shocked me most about all this was that when my mother came in and said shed like to return the phone, Adam did not ask "why?" You might not believe it from my aggressive review, but my mother is extremely kind and sweet to everyone she meets, and aside from this, she has been an AT&T customer for years. Any reasonable employee should not have treated her as she was. If you have had a similar experience, please speak up. Passivity may be easier in the moment, but it does not provoke the positive changes that will make things easier later on for you and for others.

I went here to buy the new HTC one phone on april 22nd. My battery life was pretty bad and then I realized the morning of April 25th that the battery was defective and would not charge beyond 58%. I called the AT&T store and the explained that they could only exchange it and if I wanted to return it there would be a 50 dollar restocking fee. I was okay with this and wanted to exchange the phone when Joe explained that he didnt have any in stock. I told him I couldnt wait until another phone came into stock that I needed a new phone. There was no movement on the restocking fee. Poor customer service as well as poor phone skills. Would never purchase a phone here. Buyer beware.

Paul provided my family with horrible customer service. When asked for the GMs name and number he told me thats private information and maybe I should come in and talk to him like an adult. He was rude and condescending. NEVER will we be back to this store. He should have someone to answer to.

I went to the store on my lunch break and the" be back in 15 minutes" sign was up. I waited my entire lunch break and still no one came back and the was over an hour.
