This Barnes and Noble (as others, I imagine) has grown from a books and media store into quite the multimedia purveyor. Well-stocked and the latest big-name offerings in literature as well as quality board games beyond run-of-the-mill classics like Monopoly (they have that too). The Starbucks cafe in the middle of the store does NOT take Starbucks cards as it is apparently not affiliated, though it provides all the same amenities as other Starbucks. Far back on the first floor is where you can find older hidden gems among the pre-owned books, records and the like. Also if youve got older offerings at home that arent getting any love, you can bring them here. I cant vouch for value offered as Ive not done it myself though.

So far...so far, the biggest B&N weve been to. Is 2 stories, the 2nd with mostly music, although there were some art books there to. The first floor has all categories of books as well as a Starbucks past the escalator. Past that, there is a room for older as well as rare books not for show but for sale. Here you will also find autographed copies of rare and more common books. This is my favorite section and what a gift for someone special!

Im not usually gobsmacked by chain bookstore, but this is a good one. In this age of former retail giants laid low by e-readers, a real honest to goodness bookstore is a great thing. This B&N, serves it all up...including coffee...in an expansive 2-story standalone building. I was really happy to browse their vinyl collection and its refreshing to be reminded that not all books can neatly fit inside a Kindle.

Great store; help is eager but mostly inexperienced, so if you are looking for a moderately popular author or book (not on the current best-seller list), you are likely on your own and its probably mis-shelved. On the other hand, you can browse, they have a cafe, and it has a large room with used books(again, its a jumble, so just look for "surprises") Still, Im glad its still here for us book lovers !

Huge store with a great selection of books, magazines and periodicals. Many foreign magazines as well. Lots of educational toys and kits for children ( as well as a big selection of childrens books). Upstairs has CDs, Vinyl Records, DVDs... Great selection of movies, TV shows, British TV Shows, Documentaries. Great place for buying gifts. Cafe with coffees, teas and snacks. Free Wifi...

You want books, theyve got books! Strands is the book lovers bookstore. Youll find any book on any topic and probably more is youre up to discovering every nook and cranny this place has to offer. Probably only Powells Book in Portland can meet the match of Stands huge selections. Go ahead, look for yourself and get lost in book heaven.

For the most part, you can expect everything at this B&N in Paramus that you would at any B&N. But this one has a very large used book section, which would be, all by itself, one of the largest bookstores in the area. And the prices are naturally pretty low; many titles are about 99 cents, and the vast majority are under ten dollars.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff, more than you might expect for such a large establishment. Even the employees who appear to be upper management know what theyre doing, and care enough to do so. Great back showcase room, has gently used books for reasonable discount prices. Excellent collectibles and games/gaming departments as well.

I was really disappointed that the store would not price match their own website prices. A difference of almost $15 dollars. Walked into the parking lot and purchased the book for the same price as the B&N website....from Amazon. I no longer wonder why bookstores are disappearing. The store itself was nice. Had a great selection.

I love this store. It has a great selection of books, nice seating, a good coffee house and an overall nice layout. I just wish that the prices werent as high (theyre not terrible, but theyre comparatively hard for me to justify). Either way, they have a good selection, and their annex is worth a browse!

Huge selection of books. You can find some interesting gems in the used book section. Great selection of vinyls. Convenient hours and everyone is so helpful. Organized, clean and friendly customer service. I love that they carry Dr. Who magazine. Its really difficult to find in other stores

Oh barnes and noble, how much I love thee! A store with 2 floors of books, vinyl records and great toy selection for kids. There is a little something for everyone. As well as the cafe if you need a snack while you read. FYI join the membership. One year fee and they send you coupons!!

Books!! What else can I say? In an age of digital reading and extinction of major bookstore brands, this place one can still indulge in a plethora of literary oases. Now one can also discover old and new Bluray / DVD movies and LPs!! Obsolescence and anachronism are nonexistent here.

It is larger than an another B&N that is near me, which I prefer because it has a greater selection of adult & kid books. It has a starbucks as do most B&Ns these days and a good selection of non-book items that make great gifts, especially for the person that is hard to buy for.

Great store. Good location. Would give it 5 stars but I did encounter a rude employee once that found it more important to perform a secondary function than help a customer. Yeah just once and I have been there so many times. All it takes is once to rub you the wrong way though.

Our cafe staff person was very nice and professional as well. Store was quiet due to summer. Personally I was disappointed in not being able to find a beautiful coffee table book in travel section. I guess these are not part of inventory.

Big giant bookstore. Has mostly everything. If they dont they will help you get it. They have a huge used book section for great savings. And a Starbucks. You can browse, sit, read and hang out for hours and no one bothers you.

It has the book annex where you can find heavily discounted used books. There is also a Starsbuck for coffee and treats. The kids area has a train set on an elevated table that my nephew absolutely adores as well as a Lego table.

In addition to being a great book store, this store has an outstanding used book section which buys and sells used books. The used books are obviously selected by some very knowledgeable staff. Always something interesting there.

This was my go-to place to study after work, before I went to my weekday residence at King Spa. Very grateful to be able to chill here, but it can get crowded and hard to find a table to study at certains times.

Pas mon préféré, malgre grand bâtiment. Pensais quil y aurait plus de stock que ça.

A great Barnes & Noble as far as they go. Overall I rarely go to book stores anymore as I prefer to read on an e-reader than to take up more bookshelf space but if you DO want paper this is a good one.
