When did Barnes & Noble stop selling books? Its mostly games and gifts now. It has been awhile since Ive visited a B&N, and this was my first time in this particular location. I walked in, and listen, I know this isnt a library - but they had dubstep playing, and awfully loud at that. The shelves were a mess, nothing in any discernible order and I couldnt find any of the authors I was looking for, including classics like Robert Burns, and new authors like NY Times bestseller Lev Grossman. I did ask for help, and most of the answers I got were basically a shrug and "well, it SHOULD be in order..." or that they cant keep a lot of the books I was looking for in stock. Anyhow, I got on the check-out line and as other people have mentioned: ONE cashier for about 8-10 people waiting in line. A second cashier finally walked out and was the most unpleasant person Ive come across in some time. So disappointed that these big stores have first put out of business the small independent book stores, then a few years later implode themselves, leaving a small staff of disgruntled and presumably overworked employees and a ghost town of a book store.

The cafe needs much training in customer service. We frequent this store for their wonderfully spacious play area. However, when we purchase items at the cafe, we are met with a lack of courtesy. On one occasion, the manager said to her staff it was okay to overcook items, that it didnt matter since people ordered them anyway. When I requested a high chair for my child at another time, the request was ignored. The staff member failed to ask her fellow staff member standing right next to her if she could assist us with the high chair (which was located behind the sales counter . . . otherwise, I would have gotten it myself), and we had to make a second request. As for the book sales counter, the lines are long. Only one salesperson was on staff and having lengthy conversations with the customer when there was an entire line.

This is a truly great place to go and study. I love the environment and welcoming staff every time I am here. The only thing that can be frustrating is when they invite high school chorus to their "Toys and Games " section to sing whilst majority of the people here are trying to enjoy a quiet afternoon.

The employees are very nice but the establishment could use more electrical sockets and comfy chairs. But maybe they arent interested in people getting too comfortable and using up all their electricity...Either way its a nice place to go to buy a book.

We love this book store. The place is clean and well organized for kids and adults. Our kids like to spend the weekend here and exploring the latest toys, in lego and toys section, and then spend more than an hour reading books in kids section.

Only had 1 coffee selection (pikes peak) but great food options because they have Cheesecake Factory options - also lots of seating - keep in mind you CAN NOT use your Starbucks app at B & N do no credit for your drinks or purchases

This is a pretty typical Barnes and Noble. Its a little smaller than some, a little larger than others. Cafe is fine. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. Wide range of books. Staff is generally very helpful.
