For old-fashioned American decor and comfort food, Cracker Barrel is a great choice. The food is usually very good at this Cracker Barrel; my family eats here frequently and Ive never heard any major complaints. My favorite is the fried catfish with hush puppies! Or breakfast - any breakfast selection. My favorite side dishes are the lima beans, which are cooked with crumbles of ham or bacon, sweet potato casserole, fried apples, and brown rice pilaf. My favorite beverages are root beer or the apple cider. The frosted mug of apple cider tastes like youre drinking apples - no weird aftertaste like most cider and apple juice. My only complaint is that the baby carrots arent sweet, like they used to be. In addition to the food, be sure to check out the general store, where youll find all kinds of seasonal items, womens clothing, jewelry, soaps, lotion, candles, trinket boxes, yard ornaments and old-fashioned candies. Signature Cracker Barrel foods and condiments are also sold. I even found chocolate Neccos here! I can recommend the jams and jellies, especially the seedless blackberry. My husbands favorite unscented goats milk lotion can be found here, as well as scented lotions that appeal to my elderly mother. Keep an eye out for sales on womens clothing; Ive found some popular styles at excellent prices.

I got the rib-eye with corn, dumplings, and hash brown casserole. Gristle is not marbling and the meat was not seared so it had little flavor. Corn was from a can and the dumplings and biscuits were not as good as I was lead to believe they would be (quite bad actually). The hash brown casserole was great though. They dont serve beer or wine, so I settled on coffee, which was not too bad (I still think all restaurants that have "dinner" on the menu should serve beer and/or wine). Considering the price of $15 for a rib-eye with sides, I can understand why the food quality was so low, but really, Id rather get a $15 pasta dish at a better restaurant. I liked that they had a fire going, I did not like that it was nearly dead and the entire place was quite cold. Somehow, fake southern charm in NJ comes across as hostile instead of cheesy. I didnt hate the store side, but I was just there to eat. I will say the server was on top of things except that I would have appreciated the biscuits immediately instead of coming with the main course. Isnt that the whole idea? Anyway, it came across as restaurant policy, something she was told to do.

First and last time eating here, the service was horrible everyone stands around in the doorway of the kitchen area and or walk around acting like they are busy doing pointless things (like stuffing sugar packets on empty tables that already have tons of sugar) instead of coming to give you service. Literally had to go and get a server just to take my order, my food came out cold and eggs had no cheese even though I asked for it (like seriously???) no one comes over to ask is the food alright, do you need refills NO NOTHING my Husband literally had to raise and waive his hand just to get someone to come over to us. Just pathetic.... I give this place 1 star only because the pancakes are good other than that they should consider closing down, or getting new ownership, fire everyone and teach their employees a thing or two about customer service because the folks at the Mt Laurel Cracker Barrel do not have the slightest clue of CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

This past Sunday my family and I went to a college graduation about 10 minutes away. After the graduation was done all the other family members wanted to get some food whether a meal or just a quick snack. Having had a lot of good meals at other Cracker Barrels I suggested we go there. We had about 20 people and started arriving around 8:30 and were seated within 15 or 20 minutes. Once the orders were placed for the food and drinks, everything came out without any problems I was aware of. The 2 young ladies who took care of us did an excellent job and did not make us feel rushed but were very accommodating. I would like to thank them for their excellent service and hope we were not too rowdy or out of line.

Who doesnt love Cracker Barrel? The waitresses are friendly and helpful, the food is finely-made (nope, not 5-star restaurant good, but then again, that stuff isnt for my taste), from scratch and made with care. I never leave hungry from Cracker Barrel, and always leave happy. The "County Store" is great. A perfect place for people with a sweet tooth as there is plenty there - from candy to Moon Pies - so you can go home with enough to keep you happy (try the Moosjkas - milk chocolate, caramel, and marshmallow, a CB favorite, and if you dont see them, ask!) after digesting your meal. The ladies love the items for sale.there, and browse while we take a seat on the rockers out front. Enjoy!

Great comfort food and quaint atmosphere. The service here though is less than adequate. I go here often and its always the same: drinks go empty for too long and the servers are not around much so if you have any issue at all you either have to wait forever or flag down another server. Last visit it took 10 minutes to get our drinks out after ordering and we had to ask for silverware when we got our food because no one ever brought them. The server who brought our food was not our normal server and acted very inconvenienced by this. Would be a 5 star review if the service was better.

Went for brunch. Hostess was nice. Our waitress, Marva, was talkative but never offered to refill our (tepid) coffee/tea. She took our order then brought us our drinks. Gave us our check about a minute after our (cold) food was delivered. We actually wanted dessert but never bothered to order since we were given our check at the beginning of our meal. Even other surrounding diners commented to us how neglectful she was and wondered why our check came as we started eating! Hoping the next visit gets a better waitress and hot food.

This was the absolute worst service I have ever had! The hostess was sweet, and sat us. Our waiter by the name of Mark was nasty, and didnt take our order properly. Our food was cold, and when I told him about it he went to the kitchen to fix it. They wiped off the gravy, and flipped the chicken over. I was like is this a joke? I had heard so many great things, and was very disappointed. The waiter didnt even seem to care, had no interest whatsoever, and had absolutely no customer service skills.

Working out of town decided to stop here. Meatloaf and green beans were not hot, barely warm. Waitress dropped plate said she was bringing me bread back, didnt seen her again. I wouldve like my bread and more ketchup, since there was very little on my meat. It wasnt very busy so I have no idea what she we doing our where she went. Another waitress brought my check. Didnt feel very friendly there. Its a shame because Im in town until March 8. Needless to say I will not be going back here.

If you decide to dine at this location, stay aware from Ginger. Horrible service! She got the order wrong, came back and immediately placed food along with check on the table. We did not even start eating our meal and she was "showing us the door". She did not return to our table, another waitress assisted us on refills of coffee, getting us napkins and condiments. It appeared as if she had a choice to serve my family, she would rather not. Sincerely, Regular customer
