I had a wonderful experience at Frederic Goodman! I was in need of some custom jewelry work. I had my grandmothers engagement diamond. I went into the store and was very impressed with the attention and caring assistance I received. I explained how important and sentimental this diamond was to me. The store personnel made me feel at ease. We discussed for some time about what we could do with this stone. Jeannie, one of the kind and obviously seasoned staff members suggested making it into a necklace. I agreed. Jeannie explained that she would work in tandem with the jeweler to make sure I received exactly what I had asked for. They made a beautiful necklace that I will cherish for a life time! I am delighted and overjoyed to have my grandmothers diamond so close to my heart everyday. Thank you to the staff and jewelers at Frederic Goodman for a fabulous experience!

My daughter and her fiancé had a most excellent experience choosing and buying their wedding bands at Frederic Goodman in Upper Montclair. This jeweler demonstrated a level of caring and fine service that is largely missing from the retail experience these days. This jeweler also had an unsolicited opportunity to show their true good character and integrity in making sure the rings were "perfect." I highly recommend Frederic Goodman Jewelers. I really cant say enough great things about this place. I brought in an expensive old bracelet that I had tried to clean with tarn-x that did not end well. I thought I had ruined it, they cleaned it for free while I waited, and the bracelet looks new again! thanks!

Just had my watch repaired at Frederic Goodman in Upper Montclair all it needed was a battery they charged me $50.00 what a rip off I will never go back to that store .
