Do love poor quality food at high prices? Are fruit flies adorable pets that you love to bring home? Enjoy rolling the dice on how long your food will last? Then this is the place for you! Due to a lack of any nearby competition, this third-world grocery store was been allowed to limp along. Check out the twitter account for the lonely basket holder out front. @acme_basket The only times I set foot in here is if its too late to drive to a normal grocery store, or if I have company coming over that I dont really care for. Want to play a fun game? Buy some meat or seafood for a family dinner! Will anyone get sick? Will you gag when you open a rancid package of meat? Fun for the whole family. Just make sure you bring the rotting, stinking meat back to the store along with the receipt. Otherwise you lose. Womp womp. Good thing the clinic is right across the street. Coincidence? I call it smart urban planning. Best of luck, and make sure youve had your shots.

Im surprised that when they built this store a few years ago that they did not build it bigger considering the massive influx of people coming here from the big city and ruining what was once some very good farmland that was used to provide food for people throughout the world. Seeing however that it is a smaller store does make it more appealing since I do not want to walk forever just to get a couple things and I do not know of anything that I have needed when I shop here that they did not carry in stock. The aisles have always been left uncluttered and clean and the employees are able to take care of your needs although I think they might have gotten rid of the self check-out lines so thats a good reason to go to the Mullica Hill Shoprite instead as they do still have them. If you are shopping the sales though that is not an option so you might as well save the gas and shop here unless you live closer to here.

This Acme has workers that won`t look at you unless you say excuse me. My wife asked for knee highs the answer was, I don`t know if we sell them any more.Just pull up into the parking lot you will see trash all over.Walk inside you will see water leaking out from units, to cheep to fix, promotes fungus, walk to the deli face left next to the potato salad look down at the floor, approx. 1/2 inch of scum on floor, look into deli - carts are covered with same looking scum. Go to the milk cooler look inside, dried milk spilled all over. I was here when the acme first opened it was great. What happened? This store is overpriced. Just drive a little further and customer service is great. They take you to the knee highs with a smile talking about the weather.

No stars !! What ever is on sale are old items . Re-frozen foods ,especially ice cream. They always argue with you about coupons you use. They put a limit on them all the time. Plus if an item is on sale alot of times the register will ring up the higher price.You have to check your receipt with a fine tooth comb when you get home -There is always a mistake . Put in another affordable price grocery store! !!! Please !!!!

OMG ! Fruit flies galore!!!! Have been there 3 or 4 times... NO frozen or fresh chicken wings hardly ever. Its hard to get fresh bread on the weekends. Cocktail sauce by seafood dept, is expired. Some of the jellys are also near or already expired. Low staff due to low amount of customers entering. Their bags break all the time, must bring your own or unfortunately double bag! Only will go there in case major need.

Acme is super overpriced for any grocery store. I only go here when i need to grab one or two things for the same day. I have no problem driving 20 minutes to any other grocery store to do most of my normal shopping. And dont go here anytime between 2 and 7....its the only grocery store in town so everyone is there and they never have enough cashiers or workers who seem to care at all about their job

They are always raising prices but claim to be lowering them and hardly ever have what is on sale.Need a competitive grocery store around here that can force them to lower their prices because I have shop at this store by default and pay their outrageous prices .

I like this Acme location because it is always clean & organized in an intuitive fashion. They also carry a fresh selection of meats & seafoods. The store does not get 5 stars in this reviewers opinion because it is one of more pricey grocery stores.

As far as acmes go this one is the best. Everyones always really friendly and helpful. The selection for and acme is really good as well, only think it lacks is a large organic fruit and vegetables section.

Seafood is terrible! On every purchase of the seafood had the foul smelling. They need to improve on the seafood department. We want fresh seafood.. not rotten slimy seafood smelling like menstruated pad!

The milk section is always disgustingly filthy. Dried milk on a lot of containers and the shelves and floor. Check expiration dates, they keep stuff on the shelves past the expiration dates.

Terrible people expired products and they argue with you when they overcharge i called headquarters on them. Horrible and their meat is brown and old looks half rotted

I have found expired meat on the shelves more than once. The produce never seems to be very fresh, and shoprite has better prices. This place has gone down hill.

Employees are all nice. Prices are higher as the really have a captive market. No other supermarkets within a 20 minute drive.
