My wife and I recently relocated from North Carolina to New Jersey. Down south we ran summer tires on our vehicle all year long. Needless to say, we found ourselves in need of winter tires for the first time. A little bit of background about myself. Up to this point I have loathed dealerships! I have had so many bad experiences that for the past 16 years I have done EVERYTHING to my vehicles myself with the exception of tires/alignments. Having just moved here. I found one of my vehicles in need of winter tires (that which I could not do myself) and was 2000 miles over due on spark plugs and wires with only 300 miles till it needed an oil change. I had planed on doing the work myself but now my wife and I live in an apartment which does not allow for vehicle maintenance. I picked Schumacher Chevrolet in Little Falls because it had the best customer reviews (I figured then it had to be the least "evil dealership ") Upon my arrival, I spoke with Mr. Brain about putting winter tires on my car. I would order the tires and and bring them to Schumacher myself (yes my dealer trust issues ran deep). He informed me I had a catalytic converter recall (of course I had known about the recall but since it was not a safety issue I did not want a dealer touching my car...) Long story short I let them swap the summer for winter tires, do the maintenance and recall work figuring I could undo any mistakes later. I asked Mr Brain to please have the technician save the spark plus and liable what cylinders they came from so I could assess the engines condition (and they did)! Before my wife left the parking lot I checked to insure the oil filter had been changed (and it had)! Not only did the technician do EVERYTHING they were supposed to but they did it the same way I would have! I asked them to save my summer tire so I could put them back on in spring and they wrapped each one in plastic and labeled them for me. First I would like to apologize to you Schumacher Chevrolet in Little Falls for prejudging you based on my past dealer experiences. You obviously earned your good reviews. Then I wish to sincerely thank tech 49 for taking such great care of my vehicle. You earned a great review today for great work! Thank you!

This is the worst dealer I have ever dealt with. First off when I was about to sign the papers, me and the sales person agreed on a price and then the next day when I was going to sign the papers, the finance manager says ok so sign these papers and I look at it and my Camaro price agreed on $265 a month and out of nowhere it is now $302. The guy there at finance said oh no you didnt qualify for the 265 because of your credit (and I had credit score above 680) and how the hell does it make a different of almost $40 on a lease? ANYWAYS I didnt care and I just wanted my car so I signed it and everything. After receiving my car which they had to locate and get from PA. When I got home I noticed in the back seat there was french fries in my car, I went nuts when I saw that and supposedly the car was detailed before I got it?! Later after 2 weeks of ownership, my car continuously broke down and I had to go back and forth to the dealer 5 times within a month period for the same issue. The stupid service manager Brain assured me there is nothing wrong with the car and he tested it himself and nothing was wrong with it even though it was a brand new car, My Camaro would drift on its own to the left at speeds of 50+mph. it was insane and finally i had enough of this dealers B.S. and the service managers insult telling me after I gave my car with 1/4 tank of gas and then I received it with completely empty tank of gas and he replied I should have been thankful he gave me a loaner. What kind of answer is that to your customers? Anyways I never showed back up at that dealership because I was disgusted by them and the sales manager Chris Stacy false accusations that I will not even bother to get into but I ended up taking my car to Hawthorne Chevy and they fixed all my problems and mechanic issues from the first time that Schumacher Chevrolet couldnt fix after 5 or 6 tries. truly sad little dealership!

Jim P did a fantastic job. His knowledge of trucks, suvs and particularly the towing options/capabilities was phenomenal. This is what impressed me most on the phone and is what led to us coming to this particular dealership. I called different dealerships throughout the day and I got many quick answers from sales reps about the towing capability of a certain truck. Jim explained the different towing packages as well as the different rear ends on a vehicle which impact towing capabilities. I could tell that he was confident about the weights a certain vehicle could tow rather than other sales reps from different dealerships who gave quick answers and almost seemed to be guessing. This answer also varied based on who I spoke to and which place I called, which should not be the case. A particular vehicle should tow the same amount of pounds regardless of where I call! He was able to look it up on the vehicle info sheet and get the exact amount. None of the others seemed to look up the information and give me an accurate answer, except for Jim. Despite coming down to look at a used 2013 truck, we left with a brand NEW 15 leftover and we couldnt be happier!!!!! Jim P did a great job! Even though it was past his working time, he stayed with us well after 5 to go through the bells and whistles, hook up the iphone and the onstar, etc.. Nice to see this kind of dedication! Very happy with this dealership and even though it is an hour from where I live, Id do business with them the next time we need a new vehicle (although the last chevy lasted 15 years!!!)

My experience buying a 2013 Chevy Spark at Schumacher Chevrolet was by far the best experience Ive had at a dealership!!! I had been looking for a specific car for 3 weeks and had been promised the car by two different dealerships near me in Virginia, only to be told at the last second that they wouldnt get the car for me because it was too much hassle. So I made an online contact request with Schumacher Chevy and by the next morning, Kathleen had emailed me a price below MSRP and way below what the other dealerships were offering, saying she would be happy to hold the car for me. TJ and Mark then walked me through the process, answered all of my questions, and always got back to me within an hour of my email or call. I took a bus 5 hours up to NJ to get the car, and when I got there, everything was ready to go and there were no surprises. They didnt play games like most dealerships, they were very straight forward and professional, and the 5 hour trip was totally worth it to deal with such friendly people!! They didnt try to pressure me or suggest a different car (the car I bought was very inexpensive, even moreso after they made me such a great offer) and I will absolutely be back when I need another car!!!
