This is one of the worst stores to shop at. Ive had alot of problems with this store. When Red Dead Redemption was coming out I pre-ordered it so I was guaranteed to get it the first day. I went in they said they were sold out, I said but I put $50 down to make sure I would have it day 1. The guy was like yeah well sorry all sold out. He asked if I wanted my money back, I was like ummm yeah. I went to the gamestop in west paterson on route 46 its like a 5 minute drive away. I walked in and asked if they had Red Dead the guy was like yeah. I told him what happened and the two guys were like wow what ( insert bad word ) And I was like yeah pretty much, they said what they did was wrong by selling your copy and they had plenty of copies there. My recent problem with them was this week. I was going to go to bestbuy on route 46 but gamestop was closer so I went there. They had mass effect 2 "new" but the display model. I said okay I looked at it the discs were clean and everthing was there, or so I thought. Turns out new it comes with a code for a dlc or you have to pay 1200 ms points. I called them up the next day and the guy was like yeah that code was only for when the game came out. Which in fact the guy lied to me because the dlc is still up at the marketplace for 1200 points and I got ripped out of that. Please dont shop at gamestops go to bestbuy avoid gamestop in clifton epically they are crooks.

Due to hurricane Sandy and the gas shortage the Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360s were coming in late. I was okay with that because, hell, what are you going to do? They called me on the 5th (game and system come out on the 6th) and left a voice mail explaining that they wouldnt have the systems at the midnight release. The message went on to say that it would be in at noon on the 6th and to call to make sure. I counted. 15 times I called and it rang, and rang. About 5 other times it was just busy. No one picked up at all. I stopped by after work since it was on the way and when telling me they had none in stock and seeing I was a tad frustrated they had the nerve to say "Well maybe you can call next time." Ive worked retail before, it isnt hard to pick up a phone. What is truly frustrating is that I have had really good experiences with this GameStop in the past but recently it has gone downhill. Just go to the Best Buy right around the corner.

This is the worst Gamestop I have ever had the misfortune of shopping at. They almost never answer their phones, which is a problem because they have a habit of sending text messages about having midnight releases, and then not doing it. They have, at this juncture, messed up my pre-orders 3 times, losing one of them all together and beating me out of my 5 dollars. Additionally the employees all seem to have something better to do rather than help customers, or are just downright incompetent; the other day I was in and the cashier couldnt figure out how to use a gift card. If I was you, I would just go to the Bestbuy thats in the same parking lot.

Would shop there again. Went there to purchase the Zelda Skyward Sword bundle, which is out of stock more or less everywhere I called. Purchased the game and then decided on purchasing a strategy guide as well after browsing around the store. The clerk pointed out that buying the game and guide together may save some money so he rang them both up together to find out. Ended up saving me $7.00 that I would have otherwise handed over to Gamestop had he not mentioned it. Overall an excellent experience.

Really large selection of games. The employees tend to really know what theyre talking about when it comes to video games. The only problem I have is that its often very crowded and they will have only one person working the register with like ten people in line. So Ive been in there for over and hour just waiting on line.

This is like the king of all gamestops in the area. Its huge on the inside and has so many game, accessory, and figure selections. It also has a nice spot in the back where you can try games out on the game systems. The only time its packed is holidays.

This place has every game and accessories you could want. And as many times as Ive been there, at various times of the day, its never crowded. The staff is very helpful in getting you exactly what you need. Always my first choice for a GS location

Great employees, never tried to rip me off, and they have a large selection of games. I go here during the weekends and its usually an enjoyable experience. Be careful of going during Christmas and New Years as the store gets full of long lines!

ive got to many gamestop power up points to stop buying there at this point, even though i can get 20% off new games at best buy
