Had two experiences here over the past two years, neither of them were good. The first, two years ago, I was hunting for a Sportsman 550xp EPS, walked in, talked to the sales guy, who seemed like a genuinely nice guy, got a price that was very competitive and I was happy with. I threw down a deposit signed all the paperwork and was in & out in under 30 minutes, very pleased, called up my girlfriend and gave her the good news so she was very excited. A few hours later when we were getting ready to go pick up the machine we got a call from the salesman asking us to come in because he screwed up on the price he gave us and said they couldnt give us the bike at that price... Seriously? I ask how much they could give us the bike for, and it was over $1000 more then the price listed on our agreement, and they would not work with me at all, I understand people make mistakes, but we had a signed agreement, at least work with me, but no, they were firm on the extra $1000 and wouldnt budge. I had a written signed agreement with a deposit, Im sure i couldve legally forced them to sell it to me, but Im not that kinda guy, so I just got my deposit refund and went elsewhere. Now just this past week I was hunting for a new Sportsman 850 EPS for myself, I saw a CL ad for a sportsman 1000xp for $8999, even though i still had a bad taste in my mouth I figured that was a good price id give them a shot. I walk in to find a new sales man sitting at the desk where the last failed sale took place, and again, seemed like a real nice dude just doing his job. We walk around, look at some bikes, chat a little bit, I explain to him what happened last time and he said hed do what he could for me and I mention the CL ad. Well then here come the REAL prices, the CL ad shows a price before all the fees, fees include Freight at around $8xx, that one i could swallow Ive done my homework and found out which fees are legit and which are just BS or Inflated, the other reasonable fees include, tax, title/registration, MV fees, etc. but there was another fee that was quite hefty and out of the other 3 - 4 dealerships I called, was unique to Ledgewood Kawaski, $6xx for "prep". This fee is one of the main reasons Im writing this poor review. Most other dealerships I called (admittedly they were out of state since most NJ dealerships seem to suck and all have these practices) either wanted $1000 less then Ledgewood Kawasaki right off the bat, then added 1 fee for Freight & Prep of around $800 OR they just gave me a price that included everything except tax that was the same as what ledgewood wanted to charge BEFORE fees. The other thing to note is that you know what "Prep" involves, putting gas, oil & all the other fluids in the bike and starting it up, they dont even have to bolt the wheels on anymore the bikes come pretty much fully assembled now a days, dont believe me? Google it, or just walk into the back and you can see them in the crates with clear plastic wrapped around them. Anyway, with all the fees and junk the bike came out to $200 over MSRP AFTER FACTORY REBATES! & before tax. When your looking to buy a machine, seriously, do your homework, make phone calls, get on ATVtrader, look at the prices available out there. I just dropped a deposit on a machine, and im saving $1800 off the price I got from here which I find to be pretty absurd. A few hundred dollars difference I can understand, but $1800 thats just taking advantage of people.

It is not very often that I take the time to write a letter about a service I received or a reputable vendor that is noteworthy of praise. Everyone has a busy life and the last thing one finds time to do is to reflect on the overall service a company provides and realize it’s time to write. This is the case with Ledgewood Powersports and the amazing service, advice, reliability, and commitment this company has shown my husband and I over the years. Roughly 34 years ago, my future husband and I walked into Ledgewood Kowasaki to look at the LTD 1000 that was displayed in the window. At the time, Noel’s dad, Don, talked with us about the bike and we were immediately impressed with everyone’s friendliness and knowledge. We liked the fact that this company did not use any high pressure tactics to get us to buy. I think we visited Ledgewood Kawasaki several times before I convinced him to buy the bike. What a great time we had exploring the county roads of Sussex County. When my husband and I were married twenty years, I wanted to surprise my husband by purchasing another motorcycle for our anniversary. Knowing that he was eyeing the Kawasaki 1500, I went down to Ledgewood Powersports and met with Noel. Not really knowing much about motorcycles accept other than sitting on the back of one, Noel took the time to work me through the buying process. She and her staff helped me to chrome the bike. I got a great deal on the bike and they gave me spot on advice regarding equipping the bike with great accessories. Ledgewood Powersports even drove the bike to the restaurant my husband and I were at and parked it under the front overhang. They even sent in a big guy who asked the hostess to have my husband paged. When he asked my husband to step outside, he thought this big guy was looking for a fight. Little did my husband know that after leaving the restaurant, the man tossed the keys to my husband and told him, “This is yours.” What other motorcycle shop would have gone through the trouble to make my anniversary gift to him so special. Ledgewood Powersports has a way of making everyone feel special. Needless to say I bought my husband the Kawasaki 2000 for our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Again, Ledgewood Powersports took care of every little detail and the price was terrific. Everyone in the store is helpful and they work with you to get you a great price. We would not think of another motorcycle shop to purchase or repair our bikes. The service department is wonderful and the parts department is awesome. Gary always has the answers to questions you may have and he gets the parts you need in a timely manner. In a couple of years, we will be married for 35 years. You will see me back at Ledgewood Powersports looking to purchase another bike for my husband. For service, dependability, and honest pricing, I would go nowhere else. We have been customers of Ledgewood Kawasaki/Powersports for over 34 years. You will love this place. Denise

First phone order placed for new Can-AM Outlander MAX XT Camo, upon arrival quad had significant water damage. Salesman stated it came right out of crate, but had 3miles and 4 hours of runtime on it. Rust was preset on Wheels and engine block, white powder residue on block, corroded clips on body panels, and and water to the brim off drip stick shaft. Salesman and Manager acted dumb, while Service manager wanted nothing to do with it after we pointed out the issues. Attempted to refuse Sales but, the morons wanted us to pay them for labor for the accessories they installed. Yet, sales slip stated installation was free. Found the exact same quad at another delaership that was actually Brand New. Unbelievable the difference, 20 min runtime and about 3/10 of a mile. Borought that quad, no issues. Those scrumbags stated they ran up 3 miles just moving the quad around there lot, Liars!!!! That quad had been riden and they wanted to treat it as Brand New. Try to have discussion with manager, who was in office arguing with another client at the time. Had the nerve to state I owe for storage charges. Shady, scummy dealings. NEVER EVER GO TO THESE LOOSERS.!!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!
