The store is fine if you are buying prepackaged national brands. Unfortunately the produce is sad and many times inedible. Dont even bother if you need something even remotely unique like fresh ginger. Itll be soft and spongy and thats if they have it at all. Also fruit flies. Lots of fruit flies. The meats offered are just as bad. Slimy looking chicken, grey beef. All of it seems to be frozen then thawed possibly a few times. There is always a plentiful supply of "Manager Special" meats which is never a good sign. I also do not recommend buying ice cream of any variety here. They have had problems with their freezers here for as long as I can remember and everything seems to have a coating of icy frost. Even worse is that the ice cream will have good "best by" date but will still taste horrible and freezer burned. I am a local and unfortunately shop here when Im in a pinch. I avoid doing my weekly shopping here like the plague, which you may catch if you buy their meats or produce.

Acmes are usually priced higher than others grocery stores but this one takes the cake. Meat is usually priced double of what other stores charge and then sold as buy one get one free, forcing people to buy 2 packages when they only want or need one package. This isnt too bad except that it preys on the retirement high rise behind it. These people are on fixed incomes and cant always afford these prices, but since many of them do not drive, they have no choice but to shop at this store.

One * for great location. Another * for decent Acme branded products and quick checkouts. Everything else is bad here. The pricing is skyhigh as they prey on seniors living in close proximity to the store. I dont know how they manage to stay on business and overcharge for grocery. The produce section is almost a a daytime robbery. If there is a possibility, shop at the Mercer mall or Wegmans or better yet, the small Asian run outlet on Allen Ln.

Shopping was ok, never seems to be problem with that. The bagger I had was the worst bagger I had in 47 years of grocery shopping. Quite a few of my items were squashed or ruined. They always say come back for refund or exchange. No thanks, I have many other things to do. Are they trained properly? That is the question.

I Made an order of frozen cupcakes for my daughters birthday at school/classroom and they did not made them!!!i cant believe how irresponsible people in the bakery can be. I am NEVER going to buy anything there or recommended to anybody

Good location, decent prices, so its a pretty good place to shop if they are running good specials. Nothing particularly outstanding beyond that, but its nice to have it available.

Extremely slow cashiers, not the best selection and dirty store. Better off driving to the acme on rt33, Shop rite on rt1 by Quaker Bridge or Shop rite on rt130.

Bigmindcreator is just a name

Not the best Acme as some of the staff at different times of the day can usually be found on their smoke break. But its close and convenient enough.
