I got my piercing done by Niki on 08/01/2015 Saturday She absolutely does not know what she is doing. Although she sounds very informative and her voice is comforting, Told me not to buy piercing jewlery online because they are from china and arent well made, mass produced. Which is true. I asked if there were other jewlery for my piercing her answer was no. It is such a contradiction, she pierced me with a china made ring. She is NOT certified. 16 of experience is not the same as being certified and educated to pierce correctly. My piercing came out crooked. ABSOLUTELY CROOKED! SO MUCH DISCOMFORT! This is a strictly a Tattoo spot. Even though they say they do piercing. DO NOT get yours done here. TAKE CARE OF YOU BODY, DO YOUR RESEARCH! I SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH MY GUT AND NOT COME HERE. LOOK FOR AAP CERTIFIED PIERCER!! I went and got a 2nd opinion with someone certified, and Nikki had done a terrible job! I did 2 weeks of research I recommend >>>Pleasureable Body Piercing I went to Will, and he said Nikki could have gotten it correct the 1st time. Sadly I have to go through the needle again... but to a professional

I had a really bad experience here. You wouldnt know it to look at me, but I have about 15 hours of work on my back. I am well versed with tattoo culture and know what to look out for. The service I received when I walked in was incredibly condescending. There was some woman there with pink hair that barely spoke to me, maybe because I dont look the typical customer. She was very rude, and acted as though I shouldnt be there, as though I was bothering her with my questions and presence. I felt completely turned off by this place and this persons customer service. It made me not feel comfortable to have them inject ink into my body if the person there couldnt even be bothered to have a conversation with me. This isnt a coffee shop where that kind of service doesnt really matter at the end, this is body art and those asking to have art on them from another person should be respected at the very least. Theres a lot of trust that a person puts into a tattoo artist and I felt I couldnt really trust them if thats how they treat me.

This tattoo shop stood out to me from other shops in the vicinity. I went in to specifically speak with Tom about a tattoo I had in mind for my forearm. As soon as I got there I was instantly welcomed. I am all about good vibes and would have walked out if I got anything less from Jersey City Tattoo. Tom exceeded my expectations. He was in tune with what I wanted and was able to direct me in the best direction with whatever I was unsure about, for example, the font of the phrase within the piece. The piece was extremely meaningful to me and choosing Tom Aversa as my artist was the best decision I made. Most importantly, the shop was clean!! Thanks again, I will be back!

I walked in to the tattoo shop and showed my design to Adam. He gave me an appointment an hour later; and when I went back he had the tattoo all traced and ready to go. Adams folks at the shop are very professional and they knew exactly how to speak with their customers. Adam is a great artist and he knew a little bit of background of the tattoo which helped us to get exactly what we wanted. We could clearly say Adam has a lot of experience and can give what you want in terms of the very close details and intricacy. I definitely suggest you to go here if you are around Jersey City. -V

My tattoos are a ritual to me and when i got my Dragon tattoo on my neck,it fit perfectly as to what i was looking for. my artist was very professional dealing with me and very detailed when outlining my Dragon..if your looking for the best tattoos jersey city tattoo co is the place.This is my fouth peace and best one yet. i will be coming back to have other tatts detailed later.My artist was name Caz and he is only there on mondays. chucks stuff looks damn solid but the other guy,whoa nelly,out of all the galleries posted,you have at least 5 good tattoos,the one panther is the best one,very ambitious in your choice of americana styled tattoos but i dont know the other shops you speak of and i wont go speaking for them but from what i saw you need to keep your ego in line a bit and focus on tattooing and not getting in over your head.

I received a tattoo yesterday afternoon from Chuck. Really cool place, very sanitary and professional. Tattoo itself really didnt hurt, and I was helped through the entire process being that it was my first tattoo, and was also allowed to take a short break. Everything went well, and was then informed about the after care of my tattoo.

I have been tattooed by both Chuck and Adam and they are both very skilled. I have recommended them to several friends that are all happy with the work they have done and a couple are now repeat customers like me. What higher compliment can you pay a tattoo artist than going back for more!

I was getting a small wrist tattoo and the whole staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with my design. Jason was my tattoo artist and he was awesome and really made me feel right at ease during the whole process. I highly recommend Jersey City Tattoo!

I got a Sanskrit tattoo on my arm by Chuck Daly who did an excellent job considering he did not understand a word of it! I would recommend them to anyone and am planning to get my second one pretty soon.

The shop was clean and the staff was friendly however out artist didnt seem to have the skill set to copy a simple text tattoo. It isnt poor quality but there are errors.
