I needed some work done and found Jerzey Ink through a friend. They recommended a tattoo artist there named Jorge. Amazing artist with tons of experience and a surgeons hand! I was looking to get some traditional work done and he was so accommodating and super responsive. The shop itself is spacious and clean. The waiting area is a good size with lots of art and funny sayings to keep you entertained while you wait. Jorge went straight to work on getting the drawing ready and wasted no time. He was so patient with me and made sure I was 100% ok and comfortable with the location and size (made me feel at ease about asking him to move it around). I cant even remember getting the tattoo done because the man is a great conversationalist; never a dull moment! I would go again just to enjoy his company. As far as skill goes, his line work was exceptionally clean and the shading was even better. The color popped right off my skin. Definitely better than the photo that I brought in for reference. A true professional! I will be loyal customer and wont go to any other artist from this point on. When youre looking for an artist, you should be so lucky to find someone as kind, patient, professional and talented like Jorge! If you are looking to get what you pay for... Definite recommend!!!!

After several days of research, through reviews, photos of work done by the artists, and ratings of other places, Jerzey Ink seemed to be most reputable. As it was my first professional tattoo, I was sure to be confident in my decision, and as helpful, yet open minded to the thoughts of the artists. I walked in with a few friends, and immediately, despite working on his own art, Jessie greeted us kindly. I spoke with him about my general vision, and gladly took suggestions, respecting the fine details and way of the guns precision. After several moments later, and a solid idea and exchange of jokes, I was finally sure of this place and my decision. A dropdown per hour was left, and my friends and I went to lunch, while Jessie perfected the image we came to a consensus on. We returned, and were immediately tended to. A comfortable aura was in the air, as we exchanged banter and interests during the process. Never had I imagined Id be so comfortable and feel so unified. The piece came out great, and took little to no time. Very impressive, very genuine, very good experience for me. A very special thank you, Jessie. We will definitely continue business. I recommend Jerzey Ink to any first-timer, and I will be going back. Uh-Oh... there goes my paycheck!

Although my review is for anyone that is looking for an amazing work of art, if you need your tattoo covered-up or you have darker skin this review will truly speak to you. I’m a loyal canvas to Jess at Jerzey Ink, now my husband is too. This review is for the masterpiece he received by the master herself… JESS! Please Please Please look at the photo’s I attached. My husband’s tattoo was nearly 20 years old. It used to be an alligator walking on skulls (I know your saying that picture doesn’t show that lol). My husband is African American with medium brown complexion. So, she had her work cut out for her. You cannot see the original tattoo AT ALL. Plus, SHUT UP if his tattoo isn’t the most amazing work of art. The details… THE DETAILS!!! I knew she would do a great job but the end result was so much more then he/we could have ever imagined. Jess worked for nearly 8 hours straight on his tattoo and she was worth every second in that chair and every dollar spent. I could write a novel about how amazing Jess is. Her work, her eye for detail, her personality… just amazing. But look at the pictures. And then make an appointment.

Went to Jerzey Ink a couple weeks ago for my 3rd tattoo, and Jesse was my artist. Jesse: Cannot say enough fabulous things about her. She did exactly what we wanted and made some expert recommendations which worked out great. Not only is her work awesome, her personality is outgoing and funny. Foot tattoos are well…a bit painful. We laughed and joked around from the minute we walked in. This was a “friends” tattoo that I got with my friend of many many years and I brought my husband for the ride so he could check out new ink possibilities too. He laughed his behind off right along with us. He liked her so much he’ll be back for a cover-up over the next few months. The shop: SPOTLESS and inviting. They even put some country music on for us (we’re country fans). The price: About average – if you want a super cheap tattoo then get a sharpie :-) Additional note: The manager George. Great personality. My husband spent nearly a half hour talking to him. Summary: GO to Jerzey Ink. Sit your tail down in Jesse’s chair. Get a tattoo and laugh yourself silly while she creates a masterpiece.

I really hate to be "that person" but here we go. I got my first tattoo here when i first turned 16. It was a semi colon only a little bigger than a quarter. I paid the $120 + tip and went on with my day. It started healing weird and i knew it wasnt my fault, i was as careful as possible. I got a few tattoos months later and they told me that the ink didnt go far enough into my skin. It looked like i got it in someones garage, it was so terrible. For such a small simple tattoo, Id have much higher expectations. Luckily i got it covered up recently. Id recommend going to rock city in Belleville. Here theyre overpriced and you might just end up with a god awful colorful scar.

Disappointed to say the least. I got my tongue pierced here in April and it was simple and easy, however keeping the piercing out too long caused in a difficulty putting it back.I called to see if they could help and they explained what they can do I shed the guy what time they opened and he said 11:30 and I told him if be coming the next day. I got here at 11:30 but waited sometime to let them open. The person didnt show up till 15 minutes later abs didnt flip the sign for another 10. I asked to the for and it was locked, no one answered my knocks, or the phone. I really liked this place but I guess Ill be going somewhere else for help!

Dont know where to start... fact that everyones chill and down to earth? Or that everyones knowledgeable and goes the extra step to satisfy there customer? Ive been trusting Jorge with my sleeve since last year and dont have 1 complaint. On point with sharing different ideas and executing them as he visions them on the person. Says it how it is doesnt sugar coat anything keeps it as real as possible SUPER friendly, honest. VERY super organized shop and VERY well sanitized clean and orderly. Only 1 shitty problem... theres only 5 starts to rate, it needs 5 more. Recommended Jorge to a few people, 1 being my wife, and few other friends.

Years ago I got a bad tattoo. This past year, I wanted to cover it up, but still having the dedication to what the original tattoo was meant to be. I was recommended to Jesse at JerzeyInk. After consulting with her about my idea, she created the perfect tattoo to cover up the existing tattoo. After a few hours, I had the perfect tattoo that was still dedicated to my family. Jesses creativity and precision gave me exactly what I wanted. Not only was I completely happy with my new tattoo, i went back for another tattoo four months later after I thought I never would want another one. Jesse at JerzeyInk is the girl to go to. Hands down.
