So prices are really good. So my wife and I go here to pick up drinks for the beach. They ask for my ID which I have no issue with. They ask for my wifes ID as well. She doesnt have a NJ driving license. However she has a Passport, out of state driving license and a green card. And they refused to sell us alcohol. The whole issue was completely ridiculous. Manager was completely unhelpful. Disappointing.

Having moved here from Manhattan I was worried about finding any decent wine shop out here. I was pleasantly surprised. Wine Academy is the only gig in these parts. In Hazlet in particular they have a sommelier from the city who reverse commutes and has a great passion and palette for wine. Hes studied with ASA and others and Ive found him and the staff there quite helpful and friendly!
