Albeit exceptional presentation as a library, the place represents nothing that matches it’s true meaning. There is no more than one single row, with less than twenty brands of cabs, noirs, merlot, or any other type of wine, and nothing that would complete the true wine experience. Seems like a name given to a place just to delineate a vast collection and knowledge. I traveled more than 30 miles to attend to the hype. Needless to say, this place is over-rated, fueled by Gary Vaynerchuk’s hyper nature. Bottles available are the ones they want you to purchase. Premium is charged and too-much emphasis is placed on the rating by a known connoisseur. Your favorite wine is definitely not available, be that may it be a $100 wine. Furthermore, you will only find wines rated by writers such as Robert Parker and WE. AVOID, if possible. My first trip was my last.

I have been going to wine library for a few years now, i travel 20+ miles just to buy wine. they have a huge selection, always changing. I usually go every few months and typically spend around 15 a bottle, and i can always come away with a few cases of mixed wines that were not there before. Salespeople are helpful but its almost a impossible task for them to pinpoint your taste and give a perfect reco. You have to look for some of the more expert staff. WLTV is also an great way to learn about wine. The store owner is a great guy who really want to bring great wines to everybody at great prices. they also have a excellent cheese shop and some other fine foods, again isnt better than a few mega NYC stores, just as good, but cheaper.

Have ordered 2 times online - both times most of the order was 1/2 out of stock and had to be ordered with the most important bottles no longer available. Selection just so-so. When calling to cancel order (because most of it is unavailable) staff neither can pronounce common wine types (burgundy for instance) nor has any real understanding of wine at all. Told that 1/2 of my order was shipping followed by email saying none of it will ship followed by email 5 minutes later saying 1/2 will ship. Phone call to different customer service rep yields new person that cannot read the order details because the names cannot be pronounced for common wines. Back to Zachys - 2500.00 worth of orders cancelled.

Not sure what happened to their beer section? A year or so ago it was solid; their fridges were filled to the brim, with a bunch of interesting bottles in the aisle. The past few months, the fridges are probably 1/3 full (with nothing particularly special) and the bottle section is probably half the size from last year. Theres always a lot of empty space in the fridges the past few months, for whatever reason. There used to be fresh new releases and labeled "staff picks", but now its mostly year-round offerings with not much in terms of seasonal or rare releases. I have to assume theres a different beer manager than a year ago and they just dont care as much.

Website is deeply flawed. I bought a few cases of wine only to find out later that I was buying futures and there is a cancellation fee. These are wines that readily available elsewhere at the same price. They have been available and continue to be available at the same price elsewhere. I will never buy from them again. They have had my money plus shipping (why shipping when they dont even have the wine yet!!!!! - this just shows how totally greedy and misleading they are). It has now been almost 3 months since I put in my order for a common wine (a cote du rhone). I called customer service and they still cant give me a date. Never never again! Gary go to h@&!

While Wine Library is probably best known as the store that launched the esteemed Gary Vee, its an incredible establishment in and of itself. The staff is incredibly knowledgable, helpful and friendly-- Im a relative newbie when it comes to wine and they are great with explanations, but then Ill see them with someone who has lots of wine knowledge and they can talk the talk. Theres a super large selection, lots of very reasonably priced selections and a very well edited cheese and gourmet section. So glad this store is a 5 minute drive from my house.

Terrible customer service. Tried to place an order on line using a coupon code mailed to me. Website would not take the promo code. Emailed two addresses at Wine Library and 4 days later no answer. Was a possible first time customer, now, I will have to agree with the other google reviews, the customer service of this outfit is very, very poor. Do business with them on the web at your own risk. Perhaps better, but not clear, if you shop at their store. Major disappointment. Will go to another vendor now

I am not an oenophile, but for an amateur like myself, I find Wine Library quite a good place to shop for wines. For starters, as you walk in the store, you go through a great cheese section where you can try assorted cheeses. Then, the rest of the store is alcohol, mostly wines, but also some beers and liquors. The best part of wine library is the great service and large selection. Since I dont know what I am doing with wines, they are very helpful.

Really disappointing!!! I ordered a couple of bottles of cava online and was charged before they got my order in stock, then I was told that my order was ready to be picked up and when I got there they didnt have the cava in stock, called to cancel the order and I was told the I was going to get a refund on my card, never happened, had to call a second time to get my refund.

Very unprofessional, i placed order for wine, i was told i will get call in the days to come, it never happened. stop at store again and placed order , got call few days later that they have my wine and will charge the card and then 3 days later they called me to tell me they dont have the wine. I notice they only carry wine that makes them money not what people like.

Great experience. Mr. Jim Gorman has a lot of patience with a crazy wine lady. He ordered my wine and had it in the store in... I think it was 2 days. I bragged about him and the store to my friend who ordered the rest of the Mac Phail stock. The store has a lovely layout and all of the staff are helpful. I will definitely make this my out of the way go to place!

The Wine Library is alright. The wine selection isnt too impressive if youre a major wine fanatic like myself, and the beer selection isnt that great either. Im shocked they didnt have any pints of Weihenstephaner Original or any of the other ones that are class A beers. There arent a lot of people when I go there, so I dont know whats going on.

I LOVE THE WINE LIBRARY, sometimes the options can be overwhelming. As the name implies, there are so many wines it will make your head spin but, if youre looking for something specific I would try here. Dont forget to check out the whole upstairs selection. You can find anything, including cheeses, and they deliver!
