I have visited many in my travel but this one place was the worst. We stop to have lunch after Cheer Expo. Were called in to sit within 15min and waited for food 1h and 18 mins our waitress kept saying your food will be out soon. 3 times she came to our table saying this! We told her we will be leaving and going else where!!! Being it was a long morning for my grand daughter cheering she was so hungry and to have to wait so long for breakfast items is ridiculous. Then a slap in the face having the manager Bob or whatever his name was tried to lighten the mood by telling his so called heartwarming story of when he managed a pizzeria in the ocean county mall. Seriously my grand daughter isnt gonna make up a cheer for your restaurant on the spot to make yourself and staff look good after this terrible experience. Even other cheer parents that travels far like us to be in Trenton for the cheer expo had the same crappie service as us too!!! You should be ashamed to be open. In my opinion you should fire your entire staff and start over maybe then you guys will get your service in order. Never will receive mine nor anyone I know hard earn money at your restaurant again.

Five stars - food was descent. - 2 = 3. Service was horribe. One son had chicken and dumplings he said it was good my other son just a burger. The burger came with mayonnaise by default. Interesting. Biscuits...I had better from Pillsbury. No Vegan or Vegetarian friendly meals. I ordered a Caesar salad with no chicken. You can order veggie sides is the extent but you need to watch as things are cooked with meat such as collard/turnup greens. Waitress (though friendly) took 15 min. after we were seated to ask us for drinks. Took 12 min to get them. 20 min after to take our order. Food was received in over a half hour not surprising busy on Sunday. Never asked us for refills on drinks. Had to ask for ketchup didnt receive until over 12 minutes later. The table in front of us their waitor visit them frequently and was very tentative. At that point was not going to ask for coffee after eating I was fearful of the amount of time that would take. I actually asked for the check mid-meal so I would get that on time. We needed a box to take something to go, she never came back to the table. So we left the food and just departed.

I love Cracker Barrel for their good old fashioned cooking and the little store they have in the front of the restaurant. It has become a tradition for me to come to this location after I spend a day at Six Flags Great Adventure. Nothing like a big meal after spending the whole day waiting in lines and flipping on roller coasters. Pretty much everything they have on their menu is excellent. My personal favorite is the chicken fried chicken with firecracker green beans and macaroni and cheese. Dont forget to stop at the store on the way out. They have some cool things, its a little bit pricy, but at the end of the day its a gift shop, so you have to expect that. In all, I will continue to come to this Cracker Barrel location and will recommend it to anyone who is down in the Hamilton/Robbinsville area of NJ.

Appears that either Cracker Barrel has cut back on staff or they cannot get enough staff. Upon arrival, we observed several tables not cleaned up..had to wait 5+ min for someone to appear to seat us. We waited enough time for a server to choose our meal. Some progress had been made to clear tables! We have come to this store for many years. Have never really seen this much of a mess at 430 on a weekday. Find it disturbing!. Our last few visits have been odd.. a free meal at our servers urging because the meal too so long to be made. Another they were out of a green vegetable.. during the week? Why was that? And biscuits that are not browned.. Well, we have finished our meal! Janelle was terrific.. everything came with our meal.. and finally the biscuits were brown! So well be back.

1), after we were seated, there was no server around to greet us until we sitting there for about 10-15 minutes; i dont understand whether it is shortage of staff that day 2) the table where we sat was not cleaned at all, we found a chewed piece of lemon and some opened sugar bags at the corner of the table 3) the server finally came and was apologizing of the waiting time and we appreciated her manners at that point, but later on she seemed to rush our table out, we were given the check right after meal came on our table. It was little bit uncomfortable for us receiving the check when we didnt even start to eating the meal. 4) overall experience was unsatisfied, from the time when we seated to the last minute we paid our check, we did not feel any welcoming and hospitality.

The food was horrible. I had the Fired Chicken Tenders. The salad was extremely small. The service was bad too. The waiter didnt refill our drinks or didnt ask if we wanted more. Then they went into the kitchen said something to another worker and that waiter came over to my table and asked me if the food was good. He went back to the kitchen area and they both laughed. Then the waiter rushed, placing the receipt on the table and left. I was with my child so I totally ignore it. I took the receipt and left. Then I went to shop at the store but low and behold a worker was following me around. I will never eat or shop here again and just an FYI, the customers are the people that pay your salaries.

Its good. Not gonna say the food is super-authentic southern cooking (never been to the south), but their Homestyle Chicken on Sunday is the reason I go there. Of course, youre rolling the dice if going there at dinner-time on a Sunday. Last time, I was seated next to a family of more than 10, so it was naturally loud to the point that I had to yell so the person across from me could hear. Also, our server was so caught up helping all of them that they forgot to bring one persons soup, the tables corn bread/biscuits and brought me a water as a refill instead of what I was actually drinking. Though, that is not what happens every time, but its a gamble.

I love Cracker Barrel, but today was the worst experience ever. All what I can said if you dont like your job as a waitress, then you should not be working there. First, she started with the worst attitude, like we bother her. I asked if the burger comes with condiments and she said no but when she brought it, has mayonnaise, even though we told her no condiments. Her excuse was, I dont know it was prepared. I worked in restaurant and I had to know the menu and how things are made. I guess she didnt want to be bother with us because we had a child. Very disappointed. The place was in Hamilton township, NJ

Had country fried steak, sweet potato, mac and cheese and green beans. First of all the steak was a frozen steak from a box, that was over fried and covered in a gravy that was thick as mashed potato and tasted like corn starch. The sweet potato was definitely sweet had what looked like two table spoons of brown sugar on top of it. The mac and cheese tasted like an encore meal just watered down and barely cheesy. The green beans where over cooked and tasted as if they where left in a kettle all day. I for one wasted my money there and will tell all my friends in hope that they do not do the same.
