Horrible!!! DO NOT GO!!! I give it one star only because I have to!!! I bought a $160 text book, the book did not come binded, so I needed to get it spiraled binded. A classmate of mine told me to go to staples and I saw his book it looked great (he got it done at the staples in or by Linden NJ). Well this staples messed up my book. They cut off the words and I cant fully read my text book. Whatever I didnt care I got over it, I dont get mad easily. However when I gave them my text book I gave it to them in two binders I realized when I got home they never gave them back. Once again I wasnt concern because they are just binders. But in the binder was my access code for my online text book which I needed since they messed mine up and to do the work my professor required of us. I called to get it back, first a women answered with a nasty attitude saying she did not know what I was talking about. Then I got transferred to another women who was much nicer but says she thinks they threw it out. I am so upset not only did they mess up my book completely but now I am going to have to make another purchase for my access code because they throw out stuff that is of cutomers not considering they might really need it and go back for it. This is absolutely ridiculous especially being a business owner myself never did we throw out something a customer left we always keep it in the back and wait for the customer to come back for it. Beyond angry never did a company that I have gave so much of my money to push my buttons so much.

This Staples is in a super convenient location, and its great it youre grabbing office supplies from the main part of the store, but it feels like every time I go there is some kind of issue with the printing section. I guess they have to take a lot of orders from the other Staples, but the printing portion of the store is always jam packed and seems understaffed. Theres usually only one person and maybe a manager there. Also, sometimes they take just the file you need to print and other times they tell you to leave the USB there, which is annoying especially when you only need one color copy of a file printed or you dont feel comfortable leaving all your files with them. And I wouldnt recommend leaving it anyway, since there is so few staff there it seems like it would be easy to misplace since theyre always running around with all the extra orders they have to fill. Another thing, be prepared to drive in and check on your order if you decide to leave a file and they say theyll call you later to pick it up. Once time, I needed an order printed and they never called me to come pick it up. Finally, I went in three days after I left it and they told me the woman who took my order forgot to call me in. These things happen and all, but these things seem to happen a lot at this particular location. If youre getting something from the main part of the store, its great, fast, and convenient, but if youre dealing with the printing section you need to be patient.

DISGUSTING print sevice. Went 3 times to try printing on transparency paper. They told me to go anytime and they would either print on their transparency paper o the paper I provide. When I came back they didnt print because "they run out of transparency paper". They have so much lack of organization thay they didnt even know where to look for the paper. Then I came back the next day and bought my own paper in the very same store. They first said they would print but they would charge the same ammount as if they were providing the paper because "its a transparency anyway" (that means a dollar each b/w copy) and I already paid them a lot for my paper!! Then I complained to the manager and he said they wont print in that paper because ic could jam the printers!! So the paper they sell as "for inkjet/laser" can jam the printers??? I went directly from here to the store in route 17. They did there and excelent job, in the moment, and cheaper. And they were kind with the customers, always trying to help. Staff from printing department in Hackenshak simply dont care about the customer or a job well done

As I had said I would be writing my review if all went well with my new printer. And so far so good! I needed to purchase a second HP Color Laser Jet printer. My first printer I purchase about 3-4 years ago. Its working great. But, the second (most recent printer) I did not buy at Staples. Im not sure that was the issue but none the less I bought it and it had smudging problems. I returned it (at this other location, not staples) and replaced it being confident with HP products. And again printer gave me trouble smudging .-( So, as crazy as it seems I figured I always get my office supplies from Staples. I called to see if they had it in stock. The sales rep on the phone said yes. When I arrived at store 15 minutes later he had it in shopping cart ready for me to pick-up. He had toners, paper etc. ready for me in case I would need it. Great service!!! Thank you!!

Ive been unfairly treated and mistreated by a person who calls himself the "store manager". I was about to check out an office chair and the above individual walks in and says that chair is on hold for someone and if he doesnt show up by 5 pm, I can have the chair. A day before, I had requested the same and was told that I couldnt and have to be there to purchase it. When I was trying to explain that to that person, that person didnt let me even talk and started yelling I front of the customers and employees saying "Im the store manager and this is my store. You cant do nothing about it" etc. I was very surprised with this kind of reaction and never had such experience before. Such an amateur person calls himself the store manager in busy Hackensack staples store. Very disappointing. I do not recommend shopping there. I complained that to staples corporate.

I bought Brother Toner TN-350 ( $79) when I opened the box the sealed metallic bag had already been crudely cut open, the tape around the side was broken and there was a spattering of toner on the outside yellow plastic protector as well. When we brought it back we were treated with an un-helpful attitude and the floor person was not nice either. No apologies, no stretching. Bad experience

I went to pick up some color copies on a Saturday afternoon. There were 4 people in front of me who had not even been acknowledged. There was one guy working - he took one person at a time and then went in the back to complete the order - while everyone waited to be acknowledged. After 15 minutes of waiting they couldnt even find my order.

Your lucky if more than one copy machine is in working condition. Have been there many times to make copies, scan, etc. There is always an issue with he machines. Customer Service is pretty slow as well.
