The store itself is just fine, quality parts, decent selection etc, but some of the employees there are HORRIBLE! . I have been there many many times (I maintain my vehicles myself). Every time I witness another example of bad customer service. Some of the employees there are just plain LAZY, not very helpful, and act as if the customers are an inconvenience to them! To be fair, I have also had good experiences with other employees there in the past. Anyway, here are some Examples: Recently, I waited 15 minutes at the register while the associate proceded to answer phone calls and began assisting other customers after telling me to wait for no apparent reason, even though I was there FIRST. Ironically, I was put on hold for 10 minutes before being hung up on AGAIN prior to even going to the store. If they actually picked up the phone for me, it would have saved me a trip , and saved them a bad review. Is this bad luck? Or just bad customer service? That wasnt the first time that i have been "forgotten about" at this location. Another employee stood there listening to music with earbuds in, could barely hear him speak, which made it very hard to communicate while trying to have him locate a part in the computer system. He acted as if I was inconveniencing him. I asked if the part was in stock at another location, he rudely said "wyckoff location is closed".. didnt even answer the question.. not the type of experience you would expect from a large chain auto parts store... Most of the time, whenever I have asked a technical question, they have no idea what Im talking about, which is pretty sad if you WORK AT AN AUTO PARTS STORE. You would think they would have SOME basic mechanical KNOWLEDGE. NOPE! This is never the case at the Wyckoff location. I guess thats what you get , being so close to Paterson?! From now on, I will ONLY go to the WYCKOFF location, where the management actually hires COMPITENT workers who are happy to properly assist the customers.

4 stars because its close to my house ... slow to ring people at the register, almost always a line but most of the workers are freindly and helpful... this one may be going out of business soon as Ive noticed they keep decreasing the quantity and variety of items available on the sales floor. Cant confirm that but definitely noticed the empty space on the shelves last time I was there.

There is a difference in how you are treated here. It was raining and I needed wipers. The sales person went out of his way to help me first to find the blades. Volvo V60. And then he opened the box and installed them in the pouring rain as I sat in the car? Who would have thunk?

I can only recall 2 pleasant, knowledgeable staff members. The wait is often too long with both cashiers helping customers find items. Maybe more daytime staff would help. The latest time I went, the wait was so long I put back my merchandise and left.

Good for DIY oil change supplies. They do not carry top brand replacement parts. Dont use their wheel bearings.
