I have been a customer at beauty elements for a long time. I always used the toms river location which was great. Once I moved to Brick I started using the one in Brick plaza. A few times I was in there I was shocked at how rude the 1 worker with the dark hair thats always at the register talks to customers. Today I went in for hair dye, purple shampoo and some other odds & ends. I was with my friend who had her child in a stroller, my 8 year old and 3year old that usually comes with me. As soon as we walk in the aisle she comes and says "can i help you" (with her usual attitude). My son has severe adhd/add as well as other conditions so he was holding a hand basket and playing with it on the rug in the aisle (next to where we were), As I called his name and told him to stop she comes over and says can you please tell him to stop. I got so annoyed at her tone that I put back what was in my hand and said guys lets go bc i cant deal with her attitude. I walked out first and held the door, she had some kind of under her breath comment. I held back the reaction I wanted to give for the simple fact my kids were present. I recommend Point or Toms River location because their employees never have that attitude, they are always polite and welcoming.

I love this place. I collect nail polish and I LOVE going back to my old hometown to see with this place has. Their polish aisle is not only impressively stocked, but also extremely cheaper than the big beauty stores like Ulta, Sephora, and Sally. They have all the new collections (and they arent usually cleaned out like the big stores, either) and have wonderful clearance bins. The girls are always very nice to me and they honored an expired coupon from their e-mail list.

The manager was absolutely horrible and rude!! Kicked us out for touching the products that said "tester" on them. Store absolutely sucked and the employees, especially the manager (lady at the register) were totally rude to all customers willing to spend money. I find it a shame how they lost 4 great customers because of the nastiness and rudeness of the MANAGER.

March 2011 Visit: Poor customer service, rude and not-willing-to-help staff. Store interior feels congested with narrow aisles and overall unappealing. Never doing business with this store again.
