I am pretty disappointed at this location. My one door lock actuator needed to be replaced and I heard it was pretty easy to replace. Anyhow, I decided to buy the piece from this location. We installed it at my house and the piece only worked temporarily. When the piece started to not work, it would only unlock but not lock the door. My stupid self had already misplaced the receipt and I got rid of the original box it was in because I thought it worked. Well, when I tried returning the piece, the associate was like, "Umm it needs to be in the original box and I need a receipt." It did say online about needing a receipt and being in the original box, but I had explained to the associate that there was a section online that said you could get a refund without a receipt if you paid by credit and I printed out a transaction sheet that showed that I paid by card. She was not understanding and kept saying, "The Return Policy is right there if you want to read it." She insisted that I was lying about what it said online. The piece was defected; I dont understand why it was such a big deal to have it in the original small box in which it was going to be thrown out anyway. What really got me was Advance Auto Parts had the customer return policy online and then it had a section regarding not having a receipt. If youre going to have a return policy, it needs to be clear for all customers regarding both paying in cash or card and it needs to be clearly communicated to all in-store locations. If I didnt have the original receipt, I proved that I purchased the item at that location via credit card. I am sure they could have looked it up too that I bought the piece there. I just wont support them anymore. Terrible customer service and very rude employees.

I purchased two tire pressure gauges. Upon their first use, I noticed they had a discrepancy of almost 5 psi between them. Not knowing which one was incorrect, I returned them both the same day for a refund. If I go into detail, itll sound vindictive, so Ill just say that I received less than acceptable service at the counter upon my return. A month later, I returned to the store, for another purchase. Before leaving for the store, I checked the store hours on the web site since it was late in the day. The web site said they were open till 7:00 pm on Sundays. At 6:10, I was greeted by a locked door. If a company desires to adjust their hours of operation, I would think they would provide notice to those changes first to their web site...and if it takes a few days for those changes to appear on the web site, how about waiting for the change to show before actually closing the store early. Just sayin. Too much time and gas wasted.

I bought a remanufactured AC compressor and granted things happen, even with new products, but the unit I bought was faulty they exchanged it no problem, but i had questioned about the loss of freon, and especially at this time of year freon isnt cheap, i had asked would there be any compensation for the freon loss and i was told, No. So I ended up buying even more freon... Would have given 5 stars if I didnt have to spend another 60.00 for freon, i mean a defective part isnt the customers fault.....
