Where do I begin? I wish I could give zero stars. BIGGEST DISASTER everyone raved about this store but if you take the time to look at reviews my issues are definitely shared by many. I had to wait until after my wedding to post for fear of ramifications. I got my dress and all bridesmaid dresses at this store. They measured us themselves and ordered based off that and somehow we got two girls dresses the wrong size. One girl was a full size too small. One they ordered two sizes too big. She measured her at a two but said oh shes more like a six. We happened to have dresses in their proper sizes from other bridesmaids in the wedding being similar and even showing them in person that the girls fit in to the other sizes perfectly and they refused to admit wrong doing. The owner was very nasty and said "everyone needs alterations". The one girl dropped out for personal things in her life so the one girl just took her size two dress since it fit and we had it altered elsewhere. She only needed a hem. The Wedding Store wanted to charge hundreds to make the six a two since it is a total reconstruction. Still refused to admit they ordered wrong. When the other girl went to get her dress and it was way too small, she left without taking the dress home. No alterations department saw her in the gown, only the young sales girl yet somehow they altered the gown without telling us until after and not taking any measurements and charged my card which was not to be done until after she had a proper fitting. She went back to try on the dress and it did not zip still (surprise) and the fabric was twisted and poorly sewn back together with exposed seams. After numerous phone calls the owner was extremely rude and nasty. She finally refunded the alterations after making a point that she makes enough money so its "no skin off her nose." I had work so my mom went with the girl for the final fitting and they then made my mom re-pay for the alterations since it had to be done a second time by THEIR WRONG DOING and charged her $40 more than I originally paid. My dress came in and fit almost perfect. I had to lose weight to fit in the size I ordered so I had been meticulously measuring and weighing myself up until my first fitting so I knew I was pretty spot on. I go to my second fitting which was only after they did an adjustment to the bust and all of the sudden my dress was so tight I could barely breath and my back was squished together so badly I had a crease straight up it. The woman that put the dress on me even commented that it was much tighter than last time. They tried to blame me saying I gained weight or menstraul. I demanded to be measured and I was an inch smaller than my first fitting. I then had to spend the next three weeks doing further dieting to fit to correct their mistake. When I called the owner to complain about this she told me this wasnt a mistake or a problem. I hope no bride has to suffer what I did. It made the few months leading up to my wedding more stressful than necessary and the fact that we got zero apologies was horrible.

Helen our sales associate was a delight, so patient ! But from there it went down hill. They made errors in measuring bridesmaids dresses so much 2 out of 4 had to be be remade. And the 3rd bridesmaid had to wear low shoes or her dress would be too short. We called to correct the measurements once but they still ordered a size 6 for someone who wears a size 00 and a size 10 for someone who wears a size 6. We understand theses dress sizes run differently than store sizes but theses dresses were extremely large. It was made harder because these ladies were not local but had made specific trips back home & to the store to get measured to make sure things went smoothly. When we approached them about their errors we were always met with excuses. We had to go thru a lot more stress & aggravation than if things had been done right the first time, or maybe they had listened when we called to correct their error. The alterations ladies maybe over workers but they are nasty. Sorry but listening to how the customer was promised something would be done is part of their job. Dont go during a trunk show ! My daughter was dropped & literally push around. Til we Just gave up & left with her on the brink of tears. (This was after she had ordered her dress). The owner knows all of this and feels that since they were able to make alterations to the one bridesmaids dress who could get back to the store all is ok. But it one gets frustrated and does develop disgust when it starts out wonderfully and then at every turn there after there are problems that we had to deal with and some of the staffs attitude. I would not recommend if u want a Happy experience.

I came across The Wedding Store when I was trying to track down a discontinued wedding gown that I had fallen in love with. I spoke to a consultant over the phone and gave her the make and model of the dress. Although she didnt have the exact dress, she told me she had ones very similar and encouraged me to come in, which I did. The consultant I met with was extremely patient. Every dress I put on was absolutely gorgeous, it just wasnt the dress that I had fallen in love with (which was too small for me). She encouraged me to go back and buy the dress I had fallen in love with. She spent time showing my mother and I how a seamstress can find extra fabric in the dress to let it out. She knew I wasnt going to buy my bridal gown with her but spent so much time with me, encouraging me to go back for my dress! Her patience and kindness prompted us to look at their selection of bridesmaid and mother of the groom dresses. We couldnt believe the selection that they had! Hundreds and hundreds of dresses that could be ordered in any color! We came back (drove over 20 miles) on two separate occasions. Once for my mother to find her dress and another for me and my Maid of Honor to pick out dresses for the bridesmaids. We ended up with the most gorgeous dresses. The Wedding Store even offered to put a customized Navy Blue bow on the back of the dresses to match the guys Navy Suits. Aside from the great selection and service, their prices were extremely competitive. The Wedding Store loves what they do and wants to make you happy! Thanks for making my dreams come true!

This store has the worst service and staff I have ever dealt with in my life. The bridesmaids dress they ordered for me was two sizes too small. Instead of re-ordering or admitting their mistakes, instead, the woman INSISTED they could fix it. After shipping the dress back and forth to their store three times (each time costing me at least $20), the dress still didnt fit. I live out of state, so I had to wait until three days before the wedding to come in and meet the woman in person. After meeting with her on Thursday, she assured me the dress would be ready Friday at 1. Friday at 1, the dress STILL did not fit. I had to return Friday evening, the night of the rehearsal, when the dress finally fit after the zipper got stuck several times. She again assured me it would be fine and then charged me an alteration fee, although it was their fault to begin with. Saturday, two hours before the wedding, the zipper split because it had been messed with so many times. The woman was rude and claimed that it was not her fault. Because of their terrible service and no knowledge of how to alter dresses, I was almost unable to be a part of my best friends special day. I would NEVER go to this store again, and would highly recommend no one else does, either. I will be getting a refund of my dress price and the alteration price. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
