A Home lite weeder was purchased at this location, in May of this year. But I received it on my Birthday in August. First time I tried to use it . it took me 50 try`s to start it. But it finally started. The next time i tried to use it, also 50 try`s to use it, but finally started, but quit on me when i was half way done. Then it would not start again. So I tried to bring it back, and was told they only have 30 day warranty on it. I told them it may have been purchased in may but was given to me, in August for my Birthday. They first sent me to the tool department at the other end of the store. Th guy took a look at it and said yup it don`t work. He sent me back to customer service. that is when the Manager came down and told me the warranty is up but their is a 90 day Manufactures Warranty. But lets see if our guys in the tool department can fix it now. because they would charge home lite themselves. I told her I was disabled, and that I couldn`t make another trip to the other side of the store. So I asked if she could do it. She took down all my information, and took it down. 10 minutes later she came back and said it was all fixed they got it running. I asked what the problem was with it, And she said it was because some times they are left on the shelves to long before someone buys them. I then said how does anyone buying it, are suppose to know that. Know I just tried starting it today. And guess what. Ya you guessed right it does not work . Go Figure Right. So that tells me they put starter fluid in it just to get me out of the store. But that is just my opinion. I have a charge card with Home Depot, and I am very ticked about this situation. went their on 8/24/14. Home Depot something should be done about the way you all handle things like this.

I went to Home Depot on 12/6/2016 to buy a snow blower. I was told that I could open a credit account with Home Depot and get 12 months with 0% financing on the snow blower valued at over $1000. The sales associate helped me open the credit account, then purchase the snow blower. The credit limit allowed was many times the amount of the snow blower. I got home later that evening and discovered an email saying the purchase had been declined by Home Depot card services. I called them for help. They told me to try again. I did. I got the same email. I went to the store two days later to pick up the blower and get it delivered. They did not have it in stock. I went ahead and purchased the blower on that day (12/8) and came back that weekend to rent a truck from Home Depot and take it home. The sales associate said the credit services had been having issues, which explains why the purchase declined twice on 12/6. After three separate trips to Home Depot, I finally got the blower home. When I went to look at my card statement, the twelve months financing was not there! An associate with Home Depot credit services said that since the sale went through one day after the promotion, I am not eligible for the extended financing. I asked Stacy, the Home Depot associate why they would punish me for their error and basically told tough luck. Such terrible customer service from Home Depot Corporate! This will cost me big bucks in interest charges! The in-store associates really seemed to do the best they could with what they had. I appreciate their help.

This Home Depot is awful. I dont know whether it was because I was a woman or because they dont care about ANY of their customers. Although, the male employees are absolute worse and will ignore way longer than the women will so I agree with the other reviewer who said that they discriminate against women. The worst employee is Andy, the assistant manager. He should be fired for how rude he treated me at equipment rentals. I dont know how he can still have a job there. I stood at equipment rentals for over 15 minutes then when he came in he walked right passed me after asking what I needed and proceeded to say he would be right back. I saw him helping another male customer in the store 15 minutes later. After I stood at the rentals counter for another 20 minutes, a woman by the name of Deedee came over and helped. She was the only helpful person in the place. And she proceeded to help me for another half hour because she had no support from any of her coworkers or the asst manager Andy that never returned. I will never go back to this store. It was miserable and they insist on hiring incompetent staff like Andy. I was prepared to rent multiple pieces of equipment but I decided on the cheapest piece because I didnt want them to have anymore of my money. I am appalled that they cant get better service employees there. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

I see that this Home Depot gets a lot of bad reviews, especially from women. I am a woman and I do a lot of home improvement projects and havent had bad customer service there. Generally the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Occasionally some of the younger employees dont seem to know a whole lot, but what can you expect from a high schooler? If youre looking for advise, ask a more seasoned employee. I gave only a 4 star rating because they dont seem to carry all the items I want in stock and sometimes I cant order them online either, but they carry them at a store over 2 hours away. If any of the stores carry an item in stock you should be able to at least have it shipped to you, but this is not the case. Also their laminate countertops are much more expensive than Lavalleys up the road. Altogether I will keep going to home depot for most of my home improvement needs.

As a contractor Ive had a mixed experience with this store. Getting any information over the phone is nearly useless. "Dropped" calls are to be very expected and half the time the associates Im given have no idea what theyre looking for. On the other hand the associates in store when I visit are very helpful and are typically very knowledgeable in their department. The products in store are limited and theyll on more than one occasion direct you to order online. The only issue with that is things such as first aid kits, photoelectric smoke detectors, and other use as needed items are not readily available. This issue is not Home Depot wide as many of the stores I used regularly in Virginia had most items in stock and discouraged ordering online. That is my quick review and may change over time as I interact more, or less, with this particular store.

I cant begin to explain all the ways this place has screwed me over, and with limited choices as to home improvement stores I am forced to continue shopping at this place. Here are just a few, watch out for mispriced items where the shelf sign says one price but it rings up higher. Most of the plumbing parts are seconds, not stuff easily seen but items that are off enough that the manufacturer marks them such. They market to a price forcing there suppliers to sell them items at a price which leaves little or no profit. So suppliers cut back on the types of materials used and the quality of those materials. So a faucet for example will have identical part numbers as one purchased at a plumbing store but be made from plastic instead of metal and be junk as soon as the warranty is up. I could go on and on but you should get thbe idea.
