Shop at this store only if you are desperate. I went there for an external drive and they tried to charge a premium amount on top of the price because of an overseas factory crisis which they said was affecting every store. Neither Best Buy, WalMart or anywhere else were doing it. Because they are local I went back again for more torture. this time I walked in 15 minutes before closing to get a tax return scanned to a thumb drive. It would have taken 5 minutes at the most. They would not do it because the woman who pointed to the clock with disdain and said, "We are not taking any new work. We close in 15 minutes." She had one customer whose copying was in front of me and was already started. Are you kidding me? Their opinion of customer service is not accommodating you but trying to sell you an extended warranty for your thumb drive!

Bought a mouse. It was defective. Came back to store to return it. Naturally I went to the "customer service" area. After waiting for a few minutes the cashier said I would have to get into line behind the people waiting in line to make purchases. It had grown by ten people during my wait at "customer service." WHen I called the store "James" the "manager" said there was nothing he could do when I asked if he could put a sign on the customer service desk saying to get in line. Some customer service!

I like Staples. I buy some Electronics at Radio Shack but find great deals at Staples. They are not perfect, but who is ? They take items back without question and their reward system is the best I know of. I went to buy a laptop on sale and the clerk recommended a better one with bigger hard drive for the same price. I have no relationship with Staples other than being a satisfied customer.

I just brought my laptop and paid $69 for them to diagnose it. They couldnt get into the operating system, so they couldnt run the proper diagnostics. I was still charges the $69, even though they really didnt do anything. I buy all my equipment and supplies from Staples and hoped to be treated better than I was.

Pricing is horrible. $10 for a regular CFL?! Memory stick and unless you ask to price match holy moly its ridiculous.
