All you need to know about Harbor Freight is that they have inexpensive tools. Especially if you are just getting into woodworking, metalwork, etc., this is a good place to pick up a lot for a little. As a woodworker, what I appreciate are the inexpensive clamps that provide a reasonable alternative to what has become a very expensive item. Thats just one example of what you can get here for less than you would at places like Home Depot, Lowes, etc.. The products arent always of the highest quality, mind you, but Id rather spend less for something that I may not use too often or find that I really dont need.

Great deals on a ton of tools. Im not a professional, so I dont know how they hold up or work in professional applications. For consumables, like gloves, you cant beat these prices. Their hand tools appear to be well made and they have a lifetime warranty, so... Power tools seemed a bit dated in design, but had specs similar to what you find at the big box stores.

When it first opened it was great to come here and get good customer service if you had a question. I went there looking for a certain item and the person in the glass window office would not come out and direst me in the correct isle. There were no other employees on the floor and the only people trying to help were the cashier girls ... Kudos to the girls ...

BUYER BEWARE! Dont buy gifts at this place! They will not take returns of any kind without a receipt! NOT even a store credit. Products I bought are mostly cheap and break upon first or second use. Other stores will treat you better than this one will!

I love horbor freight!. This one seems good like many. They always have a sale. I am able to use my email coupons here right off my phone without printing them. What ever you need, they have it.

Sort of a hidden gem in Salem. These folks know their stuff backwards and forwards. The pricing is very competitive especially if you take advantage of their coupons and sales.

Receipts are now e-mailed to you which is nice for people who dont know how to save a receipt for 90 days.
