This owner is the same one who owns Bergers Bike shop in York. Heres my review for that place: My recent experience with Bergers Bike shop has left me very disappointed. The owner clearly doesnt know how to run a business or how to treat customers. There were parts removed and swapped out from my bike (air valve adapter, speedometer parts, and tires) that were never returned to me. I had to make several trips to Bergers Bike to retrieve the old parts. The owner never apologized for the inconvenience he caused me. When I asked for some form of compensation for the inconvenience the owner hollered at me! I left the shop disgusted and felt compelled to write this review. I am a local here, and have never been treated so poorly by a business owner like Mr. Berger. Dont let this happen to you, and stay clear of this bike shop.

Ive purchased two mountain bikes and a bike rack from these guys, all in separate transactions. Staff were friendly and helpful every time! Service is excellent - I brought in two bikes requiring adjustments ten minutes before closing. No complaining. They took care of both bikes and never once mentioned I kept them there after closing time. Hours are excellent as well - Its difficult to get to some of the other local bike shops when they are open. Colonial Bicycle Company is open 7 days/week, most days until 7pm.

Ive had many great experiences every time Ive been into Trek Portsmouth. The staff is all really friendly and helpful and the service center has a super fast turn-around time. Some of the other shops around town were quoting me two weeks to get my bike back from a tune-up but Trek Portsmouth did it in a few days. The owner has always been really nice to me every time Ive been in there and Ive never had any problems. Its actually my favorite bike shop in the area.

All around great store and experience. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Ive brought my bike in a couple times for tune ups and the turn around is extremely quick. I dont go to any other bike shop now. Top notch.

Great friendly service and mechanics, nice merch selection. These guys support getting kids on bikes and have a large stock of Untapped maple if you run your supply down. Definitely worth a visit if youre in town!

Low quality customer service...very cold personalities when you go into the store. Not friendly towards beginners. It would be nice if this store was a bit more welcoming and warm to its customers.

The Staff is very friendly and try to find what is perfect for you not what the most expensive thing or the next hot item is. The sales team isnt pushy and the mechanics are top notch.
