Nah dah

Im a 16 year old teenager ive worked with Market Basket for about a year, its not the best work and sometimes its very tedious, usually when the manager tells you to do something its for the better of the store the enjoyment of the people. Thats why its always so packed, thats why were able to get paid more, thats why people want to come here, or prices arent that high because we do a good business, some people were saying how the prices inflated after the strike, how does that make sense when the street was three years ago, prices go up when people have to get paid more and look at places like Shaws we are way cheaper than them their prices go up to like everywhere else, were how people complain about how busy it is, the reason why its busy the reason why everyones here the reason why you are here is all because we have the best prices the best business, and were the only damn store who has all the registers open unlike shaws and Walmart that will have 3 out of 20 registers open and have lines to the back of the store when theres only six people in there

Market Basket hands down is absolutely the best place to shop this is probably one of the first reviews Ive ever had the opportunity to give straightforward so I really hope someones listening the best thing and I mean the very best thing that Market Basket can do is to make sure they do not lose that old-school demoulas feel the colors of the managers jacket or the look of the plastic hair net or whatever on the deli guys and the overall service is always good Id say for the most part Ive always seen good management at any of the stores Haverhill class Townline Westgate is my old school favorite I grew up skateboarding there maybe thats why my opinion sways a little but Im being honest none unless I would go somewhere else if somewhere else where the best but nobody beats Market Basket as far as Im concerned you guys even Crush my toe where the shelf and I didnt even complain so have a good one and just stay you dont let the times change you dont fill it up with electronical bulshit keep it the way it is people filled with people

Employees are always great and very helpful. That being said, since the end of the strike things have changed quite a bit. Their pricing on items is constantly rising. Not by a lot, a little here, a little there, but in the end it amounts to a larger food bill. Food items that I consistently buy and seem to be good sellers are suddenly gone and not replaced. In the frozen section items are constantly hidden and buried behind something else that doesnt belong there. The meats and selection and the deli department at Shaws are always superior, hands down. Shaws also carries a lot of items Market Basket doesnt. I used to shop exclusively at Market Basket but now Ive started to split my order. Market Basket is still cheaper than Shaws but not by that much anymore. Before too long I will be shopping exclusively at Shaws.

The store has everything I need. I shopped here before the problem with the family had to shop Shaws at that time, I remember waiting for lunch meat and the worker complained about the Market Basket customers too many etc. I felt thanks to us this person was getting a paycheck so I was thrilled when Market Basket was open again and I was back in the store where the employees made me feel welcome and well taken care of.

Ill shop here until the day I die. And sure, the plaistow stores looks could use some updating. Great prices also, but MOST importantly to my wife and I...loyalty to the striking employees (THANKS ARTHUR!!) that make the business, and compensating them well enough that most of them can have solid middle class lives like we had. Unlike walmart down the street...

Its always been my favorite location! The people are much more friendlier and helpful. Yesterday i went in and my 18 month old son couldnt wake up. The manager Pat seen he was struggling and she went and got all kinds of papertowels and toilet paper so he could lean his head on! Aweaome attitudes with most employees!

This store is agin and the aisles are small. Value for money is really good. I cant speak for the meat as I dont buy beef here, but they always have perdue chicken and turkey which my wife and I like, and its never over priced. Cheap essentials make it easy to get what a family needs on a budget.

Always busy because it is the cheapest prices. Dont ever come on the weekend mornings. Organization always drives me nuts. Why keep frozen food on both ends of the store? I cant tell you how many times I have wandered through the store searching for something that should be easy to find.

Needs a New Store, its very old and run down, Shopping in that building makes you feel like your in Manchester NH. I hope they consider building a new one with the Market Kitchen. Summer is here so Lobsters and Ice Cream go on sale all the time, check online and see the deals

Usual market basket. Small and very busy. Lots of parking. Fair priced. Always seems short staffed. Like all markey baskets they do cash checks but you need to get a market basket card and verify employment. Best value in check cashing, compared to wal-mart

The employees are very helpful, and will often take you right to the item you are looking for. The folks that have worked there for more than a couple of years become like family. But dont distract them for too long. They have to keep those shelves stocked !

Too crowded no matter when you go. Why do they not expand into the old Rite Aid space next door? And why are they usually out of baby spinach, bananas and unsweetened soy milk? Clearly these are popular items. Why not up the order?

This store is always crowded, to the point of not being able to shop. Long lines that seem to take forever to get through. And the prices just seem to climb higher and higher. Just as expensive as Shaws at this point.
