I have never had such a bad experience in the past that I felt the need to write a review. This place was a nightmare for me. I bought a beautiful ball python, in which I found out later that week was sold to me WITH MITES. Whoever takes care of the reptiles there had not froze the tank bedding to kill the mites. I was told when I bought the snake that I had a 30 day period if anything was wrong with the snake that they would treat it for free. However, when I called Pet Co, they said it was only a 20 day period and that I would have to return my snake, have them treat it, and then buy it back from them. I cant believe this, I love my snake so much, but trying to get rid of the mites has been awful, he wont eat and hes uncomfortable. Thank you Pet Co for putting a huge hole in my wallet by selling me a snake with mites. Service is horrible, they didnt know what they were doing, wouldnt reccomend buying anything from this place ever.

If I could take all these animals away from this place I would. I went to this store to look at reptiles and noticed that they have a MASSIVE reptile mite infestation. Reptile mites are extremly contagious and very unhealthy to the animal sucking its blood and making it very uncomfortable there were baby corn snakes with hundreds of these bugs under there scales we said somthing to multiple people who didnt seem to care to much about it going to look and casually walking away. THIS IS ANIMAL ABUSE. If your not going to give these animals the care they need to be healthy DONT SELL THEM.

I really like this stores selection of products however every time I go to purchase something there are long lines or short ones that move really slowly, their cashiers seam really clueless and flighty, I had two of my dogs groomed there and only paid for one and a half. I asked the cashier 3 times if she scanned both pages for both dogs and she was too busy flirting with the manager than to double check her work. I ended up not paying for something in the grooming and didnt know it till I got hounded by the grooming department. Not a good experience at all with this store.

I want to give 5 stars for the GROOMER there, Jeremy, who is amazing at grooming POODLE type dogs! (I have 2 of them and they look amazing after he is done). I highly recommend him! I only give Petco 4 stars though because you have to bring CASH to tip, they cant just give extra from my card like at other places, which is VERY annoying and inconvenient, because I want to give him something extra each time but have to make a stop for cash elsewhere.

Went there after my small dog had a severe allergic reaction and had to be taken to the vet. I was looking for a new dog food for her. A very knowledgeable female employee went out of her way to help me and show me the differences between the overwhelming amount of dog foods that they have. It was very much appreciated. Excellent customer service. On a side note I was also welcomed by the cashier when I walked into the store.

i asked if a fish was healthy looking and one of the guys came over and said yes it perfectly healthy...when i took it home i had my best friend who is a fish expert look at the fish and he could clearly see that the fish was not healthy....so they sold me a sick fish and they didnt even realize it was sick....so they have no fish experience

I take my dog Charlie in to get groomed all the time. Cassie does a great job and makes him want to stay when we pick him up. I recommend her to all. I also like the fish I get there and find it a very helpful place with healthy fish. Im glad to have them all there and dont know what I would do without Cassie.

The Puppy Complete Package is very affordable and I would recommend it to anyone seeking to train their pup. They permit only 4 dogs per class to maintain personal coaching throughout the course. Wes is a fantastic trainer, adjusting his lessons based on your dogs individual personality/needs.

I take my Australian Cattle Dog Dallas here to be groomed. My dog is usually nervous in new places, but she seemed to take to the girls in the grooming dept right away. All the girls there are very nice and they do a great job. Dallas always comes home looking good and smelling great!

Nothing fancy just another petco lacking employees. But thats a cooperation for you. Underpaid and overworked. Still they have a great selection and cant blame the young kids that upper management wont hire enough help.

I got my pet hamster here and we had great service. I personally knew that the employees may use outdated information but they were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. 100% would go here again.

Lori groomed our 16-year old blind & deaf pekingese today, she took her time and kept him happy while also doing a great job on his hair, we are very grateful! Hes beautiful and happy :) thank you.

NO STAR. My rough collie was shaved down to the skin WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! He had to go on meds because he was traumatized and I am going to try and sue them for this.
