Questionable Ethics

Not sure where to begin. Had an eye exam and was charged $190 dollars and they refused to give me the prescription at checkout. They said they would mail it out. The next day they called me 5 minutes before they closed and demanded an additional $20 dollars, saying they billed me incorrectly, and would not send the prescription until I paid the additional money. I paid upon their request on that call. A week later, I havent received the script nor the receipt I asked for. I had inquired about getting contacts and they said that would be an additional $180 dollars for training. They also require you to pay for a years worth of contacts in full if you accept to pay the training, that is an additional $250 - $400. Seeing as they charge almost twice as much as other businesses, I have now decided to seek for eye car elsewhere. This was an unexpected and disappointed first attempt at establishing business with a local vendor.

Dr Frangos and his entire staff is very professional. They are courteous, cordial and very respectful of the patient. Throughout the exam I felt comfortable and at the same time was made aware of the reason for every test the Doctor was performing. The staff took care of any questions I had related to new glasses and contact lenses and adjusted my existing pair of glasses perfectly. The equipment being used in the office is some of the latest technology in eye care and eye wear. I left the office feeling sure that my eyes had a complete checkup. I give them my highest recommendation.

Doctor Frangos has been my opthamologist for eight years and God willing he will be until the day Im released from my mortal coils. Had he not pursued his present line of work, hed have made a wonderful therapist; his voice is calm and he takes time to really listen to his patients concerns. Hes thorough and precise while making sure his client is calm with his relaxed demeanor. - His office is staffed by friendly people who can anticipate your concerns and quickly put you at ease with knowledgeable answers.

A patient nearly since the practice opened, I am continuously pleased with both Dr Frangos exams and the offices service and care for fittings, service and repair. Their recent addition of a computer generated pressure response test is efficient and patient centered! Staff are always willing to assist with insurance options and claims. Wonderful news is that Jim is bringing in another family generation to extend this exceptional practice for many years to com!

I have been going to Dr. Frangos for 18 years. He has always been very attentive to all of my eye care needs. He takes whatever time he needs to take care of you. I wear contacts and have priced my contacts online and found his prices to be the same if not a little lower. I recently had to change the type of contacts I wear and he kept trying different kinds until I was happy at no extra charge.

Cant say enough good things about this practice. Front desk ladies are friendly and helpful. Dr. Frangos is always very timely and when youre with him he explains everything. When it finally came time for glasses, Ray was AWESOME! Its overwhelming to pick out glasses and he was great with both my glasses and sunglasses.
