The Salvation Army is extremely greedy they let the major steal property from the customers theyve stolen cars trucks cash and covered up what they have done it is gone on for many years of all the people to Salvation Army raping the company stealing the antique stealing the cause of June jewellery stealing anything it was gold anything that they could sell Hummels antique furniture toys and everything Ive been around at the last 40 years and I have seen it going on all the time cash money and everything and the prices on top of it even though I am a dealer I sell constantly have just doubled they dont help the public as much as they could theyve just become a ripoff open and closing the homeless shelter really was the straw that broke the camels back Reno has a high homeless rate but they sold the building and kicked out the people that were homeless I think thats what really gets me now its created a tent city their lack of help in the community

Although the salvation army is known for having a large selection of goods to choose from, they are almost always grossly overpriced. Many of the items found here could be purchased new at the same price range. In addition, for those that wish not to support christians taunting the poor with goods in exchange for a promise to jesus, there is always the WARC thrift store on Keystone, which prices their merch much more reasonably.

I too find it odd that a second hand store that receives all its goods through donation sells a lot of these goods at "new" prices. It comes off as greedy. I believe it was Jesus that said "You received free so give free." Im not saying to give this stuff away, but perhaps be more reasonable in the pricing; considering most of your customers are needing a helping hand too. If they didnt, they would shop at a regular store.

I hade given them a call to see if they had something I was looking for. The guy was very rude by saying he would "go look for it". Instead he laid the phone down and was attending customers while I was holding for almost an hour! I thought maybe he will do it soon, but nope never did. If he didnt want to attend me he shouldve just said no instead of having me wait for so long on the phone.

They very friendly people working there and they give a price on something and they are willing to negotiate the price with you and they are very fair and reasonable and they even check out stuff like stereos make everything works things like that well I plan on going back to see what else I find go there youll have a ball friendly people working there

They do Not charge Department Store prices like other Thirft stores due Now And There NOT trying to get rich off the poor and needy .. They are the most Friendly, Welcoming and Down the Earth Staff and helpful. They even have a Recovery program for Drug Addiction on the property to help the community that cannot afford A program.

Hit or miss warehouse of used items. Generally sorted into categories. Very cheap. Friendly staff. Proceeds go to the Leid rehabilitation center attached.
